Monica was a great guide and kept the day fun and lively. Four wineries and an olive oil stop made this a big day. There was an optional 4-course lunch at the fourth winery. The guide at Norton winery, Cilla, was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot. There are lovely views everywhere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our full day of winery visits. Such diverse tastings and presentations from friendly winery hosts gave a fascinating picture of Mendoza wines. We got a peek at small boutique places as well as big name brands. The pace was fast but not rushed and we even had time for a delicious relaxed 4-course lunch at one of the prettiest locations.

The description of the tour was misleading. Although we were given wine at all stops, only one was a true wine tasting with different wines. At Vigil, Septimo and Norton only one wine (not full size) was offered. The first stop explained the process although we couldn't tour the vineyard because it was raining. And although it stopped raining, we weren't offered that option. Vigil was a beautiful setting but it is not the actual vineyard and seemed to be a sales stop only.
Septimo had nothing to sell and no tour or explanations, although it is a lovely place with great views. Norton was a good tour as well, but again, no real wine tastings.
The guide didn't offer much information and we drove for long periods with commentary.
The description of the tour seemed to indicate there would be a stop for lunch (at additional cost) but we weren't offered that until almost the end and by the time the guide called to get us reservations at the recommended place, they were full. We went to another place that was pleasant but not great. It did come with 4 courses with wine pairings for each. But it was 4 pm. We had started drinking at 11 and had not been offered any cheese or crackers or any food until then.
