Thank you Mark. Argentina is not experienced until you see Aconcagua and top it off with a traditional BBQ asado. Have a safe trip home!

Thank you Virginia. This is our toughest tour as there are no wineries on the way to Aconcagua to break the trip. Im so glad you enjoyed it.

The Guide was outstanding, including history, geological information and knowledge of the people. An extremely lovely day.
Lily_R, Feb 2026
We had a fantastic day and loved the ability to see some nature outside of Mendoza. The company, Trout and Wine, is great!
miguelabreeu, Feb 2026
Pablo and Osvaldo were really good guides and knew everything.
It’s a good day overall but we were expecting a little bit more walking inside the park. The “trek” is just about an hour, in a circle, on which most of it is stopped explanations about the park (which we appreciate anyway).
The lunch was nice with a lot of food (variety) and wine.
Overall, for the price paid, I think we could’ve gotten a little bit more on the Aconcagua park, which is the main attraction for travelers.
Nevertheless, if you want to have a feel for it, we recommend this tour.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Hi Miguel, thank you for your kind words regarding the tour. We too would love to stay longer in Aconcagua Park but unfortunately that would mean lunch at 4pm and return to hotel at 8pm. The drive we do, is afterall, a 360km circuit through three high mountain valleys. I always recommend an overnight stay in Confluencia for anybody who wants to linger in the park and explore it further. Thank you for choosing us and enjoy the rest of your trip.

Great way to see the Andes Beautiful scenery with a short hike. Tour guide Pablo and driver Wally were excellent. Very informative about the history of the region.
Gilles_C, Dec 2025
The hiking is easy and, indeed, we can see the Aconcagua ! Our guide was Pablo: he is very knowledgeable in the history of the country and its consequences on modern days. He was very, very good. There are numerous stops on the way to take pictures of breathtaking landscapes ! Pablo also explained how water is a precious resource in Mendoza and how it is manage. It was very informative !
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you Gilles. I'm glad you had such a good time and learned lots. Happy travels!

Great tour. Excellent guide and driver absolutely stunning scenery and very nice lunch although overwhelming quantity of bbq meat provided.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you John. Yes, it's a hearty lunch in the big outdoors after a day exploring the highest mountain outside the Himalayas. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Eduardo_L, Nov 2025
They should just listen to Pablo and ask if they want to have a deeper knowledge about the subject because Pablo is open to questions and knows the answers. He well prepared and willing to help. His personality is flexible and kind.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thank you Eduardo. Pablo is one of the best.

Wonderful trip as the Andes are beautiful, the hike is easy and very manageable. The barbecue lunch was good. Oswaldo was a great guide and he was informative and helped us all have a good time. Pablo was a great driver.

Thank you Marina.

Awesome experience
Pablo our guide, and Christian our driver were superb. The driver often gets overlooked but Christian's English was very good and we all shared our musical tastes during our time together - great fun!
Back to the tour - nice pace, tremendous scenery and superb commentary along the way
Thoroughly recommended
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thank you Mark. I'll pass on your kind words to Christian and Pablo.
Happy travels!

Stellar experience overall and the team went out of their way to ensure it.
First, our hotel was outside the city center but they offered pickup anyway and that was so kind of we later learned that the owner himself (Charlie) was the one who did it. What an impressive commitment to customer service.
Beyond that, Pablo and Wally did a great job leading our day out into the mountains. We were all disappointed we couldn’t go on the “long hike” in Aconcagua, but this was outside of their control. The drives were long, but really informative and Pablo did a great job on keeping the pulse of the group for what to share. Definitely recommend!

It was well organized with great pick up and drop off. The route was well organized and hit high lights of areas in the surroundings mountains of Mendoza that you wouldn’t see otherwise.
Our guide and driver were great professionals and I enjoyed the trip very much.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you Kevin. Our small groups mean there is no time wasted driving around picking up people. This is an important detail. Other tours offer half the price but three times the delay in gathering everybody which is not ideal when doing a tour like the Andes, which covers a lot of distance. I'm glad you enjoyed the day and wish you a safe trip home.
Joanne_C, Jul 2025
This was an excellent trip. Each location was quite different and on the way the rock formations were incredible. Our guide, Victoria was very knowledgeable each location and also pointed out interesting things along the journey.
The tour group spoke Spanish and English and Victoria made sure we all had the same information. She also translated questions from the other group members and helped us to chat with them, especially over lunch . The whole day was very relaxed. This was the best trip we’ve done in Argentina, I would thoroughly recommend it and would do a trip with Trout and Wine again if I was in the region.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thank you Joanne. I'm delighted you enjoyed the tour. On our wine tours we stick to one language but on the mountain tour we sometimes do it bilingually as there is plenty of time to translate. Happy travels!

Although the weather did not cooperate for our trip to Aconcagua or the Inca Bridge, Trout &Wine had a back of plan that was also wonderful--going to a beautiful vineyard for an amazing lunch and wine tasting. In addition, they did a great job of communicating with us before the trip and then keeping us informed of itinerary updates while on route. Our guide and driver were also excellent, patient and super informative. We will have to come back another time to try the Aconcagua Tour with Trout & Wine!
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thank you Elizabeth for such a gracious review. I'm glad the alternative tour was to your liking. Usually the snow is higher up the Andes but this year we have it in the city. Happy travels!
Vanessa_L, Jun 2025
Ezekiel was an excellent guide and we thoroughly enjoyed this trip! The landscapes and scenery are out of this world and Ezekiel explained everything thoroughly whilst being a really fun guide. We also very much enjoyed the delicious lunch - Parrilla meats and local red wines aplenty!
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Thank you Vanessa. We try our best!
Ricardo_D, May 2025
Very nice tour around the Andes ending with an awesome lunch! Cristian is a great driver and Pablo a great guide.
Response from Host, May 2025
Thank you Ricardo. The Andes must be seen with a good guide. Safe trip home!

The experience was the best I could ever expect. The tour guide was Exequiel Quiroga and the driver was Diego. Best team ever! A pickup 4x4 picked my wife and I at the hotel and drove through the Andes until Aconcagua Park. We had a stop after an hour and a half to have a coffee and eat some medialuna at a delightful, clean and delicious cafe (keeping in mind is a tough way, so you don’t have many shops and cafes). Then we drove a bit more until a village where we could see a beautiful view and shop some winter clothes, souvenirs and use the bathroom, then, we’ve been to the park. The guide was amazing. During the entire journey, and then at the park, he told about the history of Mendoza, the road, strategic spots, the Andes, military campaigns, Inca’s camping’s, and much more. Back to Mendoza, we had a lunch at an amazing restaurant with Parriladas, wine and desert. All great! Coming back, as a courtesy, he stopped at a spot where we could see an Inca construction and the river. I definitely wanna go back and do it again in summer.
Response from Host, May 2025
Thank you! Happy travels!

If you like gorgeous mountains and desert views, this is the trip for you. We went with Diego and Exequiel and they were great. Diego did the driving, and was very safe in an area where you need to expect the unexpected. Exequiel was knowledgeable and fun - the bonus on this trip was that we talked about wine because we were interested and he is an ex-winemaker. We spoke English, and another couple spoke Spanish, so he told us everything in both languages and even translated for us so we could have a conversation. The trip was decently long on two-lane roads, so if you get motion sickness, come prepared. The views are outstanding. The colors of the Andes are memorable. We could not see the top of Aconcagua due to weather, but it was still spectacular. The meal was a typical Argentinian parilla and it was delicious.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Thank you Mike. Safe trip home!

Highly recommended trip to explore the mountain side for the first time. Long drive but so well worth it. Our guide Ricardo, has an abundance of knowledge of the area, the mountains, the geology. It was a wonderful day learning about the Andes, seeing the natural wonders and tasting local food. We stopped for a small breakfast on the way before making our way to Puente del Inca and thereafter to Aconcagua Park. The hike was easy. It’s a very well maintained path that is not difficult to follow. The circle is about 2km and offers majestic views of the valley and the mountain (we had clouds covering the tip of Aconcagua) but it was spectacular nevertheless. The day ended with a very special barbecue with a grill full of meat enough to feed a family and another beautiful bottle of Malbec. All in all, we felt very much taken care of and enjoyed a great day out and about!! Thank you also to our driver for a comfortable and safe drive on that route.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Thank you Iris. I'm glad it all worked out!
Carlos_M, Apr 2025
Amazing experience!! The guide really takes care of you and the provides great information about the local history
Brian_B, Mar 2025
Wow!! What an experience!! My brother and I were picked up at our hotel in Mendoza. Our guide Exequiel was phenomenal. He could speak both Spanish and English. He had to speak both languages in the van. He shared lots of knowledge about Mendoza, what we were going to see and do. He took pictures when he was asked, he stopped at wonderful places for breakfast and lunch. The food and drinks were perfect. There was so much meat, but it was so good and lots of variety. The views were saw....they were incredible. Don't hesitate to take this tour. You will be so happy you did.
Marli_S, Mar 2025
Incredible way to view the Aconcagua mountain. A lot of travel time, but well worth the view. Pablo did an excellent job of providing not only geological information but also historical context to the area. The driver Diego was also amazing.
Response from Host, Mar 2025
Thank you Marli. Pablo and Diego are happy you are happy!
Adam_J, Feb 2025
All in all, this was an incredible experience. Good history from the guide, great places visited, and amazing food and wine on the way back. The tour was exactly as advertised and more. Cannot recommend it enough.
Response from Host, Feb 2025
Thank you Adam. Its a full day in all respects : for views, history, culture and steak! Happy travels
LisaJordan, Feb 2025
Wonderful tour to see the highest mountain in the Southern Hemisphere. The tour was well organised and our guide Pablo was very informative, moving from Spanish to English fluidly. The area itself is amazing and I highly recommend adding this to your itinerary when in Mendoza.

We took this tour because I have mobility issues, and it did not require a lot of walking. Our guide was Pablo and our driver was Walter. Both are excellent.. Pablo is very friendly and knowledgeable. He was concerned about my safety and paced things more slowly for me. We saw some beautiful scenes and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Beyond that, Pablo and Walter went above and beyond to help us when we had a problem with our hotel reservation. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. Good guys! We are really glad that we went on this tour.
Prakash_C, Jan 2025
Starting with the punctual pickup from hotel to our comfortable transportation and our wonderful guide, great scenery all along the way to Aconcagua and back, it could not have been better - We had great company as well - another couple from Brazil. So glad we did this tour and highly highly recommend Trout and Wine, our tour company
Response from Host, Jan 2025
Thank you Prakash. Its a long way , but so worth it if you have a good guide who knows the rich history of the road to Chile. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
