There was nothing scary, spooky, or haunted about this tour. The tour guide was not engaging at all. He sounded as if he was reading a dull history lesson from a book. We thought the use of EMF Meters and Dowsing Rods would have been interesting, however the guide had no idea what to say or do when none of the equipment moved. Also, if the house used on the tour are being rented for a party, perhaps leave it out of the tour. The bus driver was more engaging than the tour guide, however, he didn't believe in speed bumps, and flew over each and every one of them. A disappointing waste of $33

Not only did our guide do a fantastic job telling us all about the haunted places, he shared very in-depth knowledge about the history of Memphis.

It was a fun tour, our guide was knowledgeable about the places we saw. The oly thing was we had seen some of the places already iso it was a bit of a repeat. Otherwise very good tour.

Very poor and unorganized tour. Definitely the worst tour I'd ever been on. Guide didn't seem to really have a great grasp on information he was trying to convey. Bus driver got lost at one point and they had to Google where going next.

A major disappointment! The stories were uneventful, did not align to the history we researched, and essentially this was a bouncy bus ride through some industrial park, drive along the rivers edge in the dark to view a land formation mound … each stop was accompanied with a boring story which lacked any emotion or excitement. Thankfully I used my Viator points and did not pay for this. BTW the agenda on your site did not match up to what we actually did. My recommendation is if you like sitting through a Time share sales pitch or watching paint dry this pathetic attempt at “tour” is for you! I still gave a generous tip simply as I felt sorry for the driver and so called Story teller!.

This activity is better suited to adults. There is some walking but those with physical limitations will be ok. The tour is more history than truly scary but very interesting and informative. The stops were well chosen for the view or the history associated with it.

Very informative host. Go when it’s warm. You will be outside. I would rather pay a few extra dollars than a tip. The tour would be classier imo.

Matt seems very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The stories were interesting.
He also suggested going to Ernestine and Hazel‘s after the walk was over which we did. The music was fabulous and the establishment was really interesting!

Good information. Comfortable bus. Both the driver and commentator were very friendly, courteous, and knowledge. We enjoyed ourselves and our small group made it super cozy. Love how they were prepared with mosquito repellant for us. Good tour!

Learned so much interesting history of Memphis! Matt (with the Hat!!) told the tales of each house, hospital and neighborhood and made the stories come "alive" 😉 Especially liked trying out the equipment to detect the presence of spirits in each location. And yes....some did make their presence known! Matt and our driver were a great team. One of our party was unable to exit the bus at each stop, so our driver made sure she did not miss a thing and told her all the info that Matt shared with the walking group. Much appreciated!

Me and my wife went here while on a trip to Memphis and she loves all the ghosts shows so I figured this would be perfect for her! I actually ended up enjoying it a bit myself. Our tour guide was Matt with the hat and he was extremely fun and knowledgeable about all the locations to be fair our entire group was so much fun. Me and my wife both love history so this was a win, win for us. My wife ended up catching some really cool pictures but I won’t go into details of the different locations because I feel that it would ruin the experience for others. But I highly recommend it!

Hearing the story surrounding Claude Pugh’s death and visiting the fountain was definitely an unforgettable experience. It’s amazing how much history lies within the city of Memphis!

We were expecting a 2 hour tour which actually lasted for less than 1.5 hours. The tour guide said she was left the wrong tablet, therefore couldn't give us some of the information. Later she couldn't find photos on the tablet which were relevant to the tour. I'm sorry to say that overall, it was a disappointing tour.
