Whisked to the 88th floor in a merger 38 seconds, wow! The views were breathtaking and not very crowded. Wished that I’d thought ahead and videotaped in the elevator on our way down as we passed each floor.

This view will save a lot of walking if you’d like to see the city from one spot. Starts at 1200. Well organised, quick to reach the viewing area, great all round views of the city. Recommended.

The Melbourne Skydeck (formerly Eureka Skydeck) is one of the city’s top attractions, and for good reason. Located on the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower in Southbank, it offers spectacular 360-degree views of Melbourne. The Edge Experience – a glass cube that slides out from the building, suspending you almost 300 metres above the groumd.Inside, the Skydeck is modern, spacious, and well-organised with interactive displays that point out major landmarks. The bar and café area also make it easy to sit back, relax, and take in the views with a drink or snack. Visit just before sunset so you can enjoy the view in daylight, at dusk, and with the city lights.
