Good experience however don’t arrive too early, no animals seen until after 10 however really good after that. The deluxe tour is very much worth the price, had over 90 minutes with Tour guide/driver Taylor that made the highlight of the trip.
This was an amazing experience. I will definitely go again. It was great seeing the animals up and close.
Easy to get around, friendly staff, safari tour was fantastic. Plenty of food options. Fantastic day out for everyone!

Amazing animals and environment. It was a cross between a safari and a zoo. The open range experience was fabulous and the tram went out of their way to ensure my mum in her wheelchair could partipate and have a great view.
Animals were obviously very well cared for and lots of them in amazing environments.
Staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and spent time talking with us.
An amazing day and would highly recommend!
Watching our grandchildren enjoy the day - Safari Bus tour was a great highlight, while our 3 year old granddaughter loved the Rhinos and Giraffes, our 8 month old granddaughter giggled when the bus went over a few bumps!
Great for all ages. Free safari bus is really worth it. The animals are so well cared for and are in great habitats
The animals! My kids especially my son really enjoyed the safari wildlife. Didn’t get to pet the Kangaroos but maybe next time will opt for other services there!
Open range bus tour great and Hippo exhibit excellent . The whole open range experience gave me a happy experience knowing all animals were contented in their environments
Seeing the white rhino in its majesty for the first time, the beautiful oryx & the life size dinosaur mimics..
Great zoo. Mostly enjoyed the bus ride through the open range. Seeing the animals up close and personal in a simulated natural environment was awesome. The narrator was very knowledgeable and invested.
The whole experience , the staff were engaging and informative and helpful .. the safari trip was exactly what I wanted ..no cages .. take your kids on the bus , it was a wonderful interactive experience , and gorillas never dissapoint

Definitely recommend the wild safari add-on. Guide was so nice and knowledgeable about the animals we saw. Great for kids to be entertained all day.
The best part was to see the animals roaming. It was a bit disappointing that the wet weather made some of the animals rather quiet. It was something that was beyond the control of us mortal humans.
First time visited the zoo in Australia, It was amazing & my kids had a very good time & saw the animals for the first time.
Loved it over all open experience. It feels near to nature and also experienced free animals which is amazing.
Was very busy, but the buses were organised quickly and did the tour around the plains.
Then walked through the tracks, and saw other animals.
If nit hadn’t been so windy the day I went, it would have been perfect.
I love bus ride and it was a good day.the whole family was very happy rhinos are very beautiful and lion was roaring at that day
Four giraffes holding up the bus while they swaggered along, getting so close to Yakini the gorilla and just the general serenity if the animals
We had a great time at Werribee Zoo. Well thought out display and lots for the kids to do. They make a real effort with biodegradable products too. The enclosures are large and roomy and it feels like the animals are well taken care of!
We enjoyed the safari bus. The man explaining the wallabies was good, the gorilla was magnificent, the rhinoceros were gorgeous, the hippopotamus were impressive. The weather was great.
We waited 45 minutes for the safari bus as there was a very large crowd. It would have been better if it had been a shorter wait. We were told that the ostriches were blocking the bus and that was the reason for the delay.

My children had a great time during our first visit at the zoo. The kids learned and enjoyed watching different animals in their natural habitat. Actually, not only the children but also us adult had fun during our visit.
I like to take the bus and go see the animals on a safari. It's a great time if you're with kids because they're excited and it's a great time to spend with your family over work breaks or weekends. Have a great time and have fun.
The African animals are always wonderful to see. The meerkats a such fun for the children. The bus ride around the park to see all the bigger animals a wonderful.
A great day out with the family, the kids loved seeing all the animals they had never seen before.
The gift shop has a wide range of plush toy animals & other gifts to choose from to remember from the zoo.

Went with my son and my aunt and it was wonderful! Thank you we had so much fun. We particularly loved that there were so many people waiting for the safari bus however we all managed to get on.
The zoo was great but booking through viator was problematic as Werribbee couldnt see the booking which caused issues getting in.
My favourite part of going to Werribee Zoo was the safari bus, and the zoo keeper talks, I love learning about animals.
The hippos were entertaining and we were lucky one of them came out of the water when we were there. The tour guide for the safari ride was very knowledgeable and we saw plenty of the animals close up. Our favorite photo was with the baby zebras. Thank you! It was definitely worth the trip from Melbourne.
