Sara was our tour guide and she was fantastic! We walked and saw all of Matera learning its history up to present day. She pointed out what to do and see in addition to what we saw as well as local recommendations for dining. The history of Matera and the Sassi is fascinating.

This was a phenomenal tour.
Sara was so informative and knowledgeable about the history. She is a local and 3rd generation living in Matera so it was obvious how much she loved it here.
We stopped at the Porta Pistola and was able to go on a 1hr hike in the valley, which was also fantastic

Mario was on time, very knowledgeable and helpful. Going on a walking tour at 5pm was a lot better than in the heat of the day. Mario took it gently and the cave church at the end was amazing! Matera is a fascinating place!

Eine phantastische Führung durch Matera! Zu Beginn unseres Besuches in Matera wollten wir einen Überblick über die Stadt gewinnen. Das ist uns hervorragend mit Stefania gelungen!
