Poorly organized with a lot of time spent sitting around waiting when preparations could have been done beforehand. spent more time watching him set up the ballon and break down the ballon than we spent in the ballon. While we were up it was beautiful but out of 3.5 hours we were only flying for about 30 minutes. Ended up landing in a wheat field. They need to get their act together and have the balloon inflated when people arrive and a separate team to return us to our car so we don’t have to stand and watch them dig the basket out of a field. I understand we don’t have any control over the wind but I don’t think they had enough gas or propane to keep us afloat.

As clearly stated on our website and in the pre-flight information, the full hot air balloon experience lasts approximately 3 hours, including preparation, flight, landing, return, and breakfast. The actual flight time is usually around 60 minutes; in your case, it lasted about 50 minutes, which is perfectly in line with what we communicate to our guests.
Regarding the waiting times, we’re sorry to hear they felt excessive. At this time of year, the fields used for takeoff and landing are often cultivated with wheat, and we take extra care not to damage the crops. This means that some logistical operations, such as retrieving the balloon or transporting passengers back, can take longer than usual. However, this is part of our commitment to respecting the land and those who work it.
Please rest assured that your flight was conducted in full safety, with enough fuel on board for a flight significantly longer than the one performed, in accordance with aeronautical regulations.
We sincerely hope to welcome you on board again in the future for an even smoother, more enjoyable experience.

I was unable to take this tour as either Viator or Balloon operator lost my booking. I waited at the designated pick up spot 30 minutes before departure and when I called 5 minutes before I was told to call back tomorrow, when pushed I was told they had lost my booking and could gly the following day. Next I was told that pick up was now 6.8km away from original location, when I challenged this I was told I would be picked up from the original location 4.45am from the original spot. About an hour kater I was told the flight was cancelled due to the wind, I cannot verify it. This mess up dpoluef my holiday, it was meant to be a highlight, other than refund and a feeble apology there was no compensation. Do not book if you are hoping to have a great experience.

The balloon flight depends exclusively on the weather, the temperatures and the weight of the passengers. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the meeting point is also determined based on the wind.

Experiência muito boa. A equipe foi muito eficiente e gentil, desde o primeiro contato. O passeio foi feito com muita segurança e responsabilidade. Piloto experiente demais. Recomendo muito, apenas salientando q nem sempre o voo é realizado sobre a cidade de Matera (Sassi), devido a condições climáticas que não dependem da empresa.
