They changed the time from 11am to 2pm at the last minute. Establishment was very basic and massage not great. We even saw a dead rat outside.

Be flexible with timing… traffic may tie things up. The massage was good, but a lot of noise upstairs and the speakers are blown so the music had a lot of static, which was also distracting. The bath was great. If you’re inhibited, bring a swimsuit.

No friendly staff, cold rooms that did not close. Overall not a great experience.

The only good thing was the transportation from and to the spa. Upon arrival they made us wait for 30min, the staff wasn’t really friendly and were talking constantly throughout the massage. Hammam room was cold, doors didn’t close all the way. We were promised some tea as well but didn’t receive any. Overall not a good experience…

I have never written a negative review until now. Driver picked me up 25 minutes late. Waited at the hammam for almost an hour before they took me back. The experience was not relaxing at all. There was a glass door in the steam room where others (any gender) outside could see you. It was quite uncomfortable. None of the doors locked. They switched my masseuse 15 minutes into my session and never told me. Incredibly unprofessional. My appointment was at 1pm. I got picked up at 1:25. Waited until 2:45 to be taken back and was done by 4pm. Massage was not 45 minutes. Body scrub/exfoliation was not 45 minutes. At the end they offered tea and it come out room temperature. What a waste of money for a horrible experience.

Much poorer than Viator’s description !

I have given one star for the staff who was nice but the experience is really poor compared to the description. Our local contact started mentioning that they cannot take us from the pick up address so we had to go to the place on our own. Once there the place (Hotel Islane) is actually made of an open public corridor where you wait and take a tea in an old building with ongoing noisy works which we can hear very well from the massage room and was not relaxing at all. Nothing to see with Viator’s picture of a beautiful hammam. The cabin door was also opened during the massage which did not make us feel at ease as anybody could see us from the corridor. We found the massage gesture quite harsh and performed in a hurrying way. We do not recommend that place.

This was a great experience - a really strong massage. Then the actual Hammam. This is a ritual experience that involves lots of water - scrubbing of the skin, mud etc. Not for the faint- hearted!!

Taxi was a little late picking us up, but once we arrived the whole experience was great! Staff nice and Friendly, booked online through trip advisor with no issues at all.
