Driver, Said, picked us up promptly from our hotel in the Marrakech medina. Efficient and friendly drive to Eaaaouira with rest stop along the way. Local guide, Hassan, took over at the destination. He was knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly as well. The town is an interesting contrast to the inland and desert locales. Be prepared for stops at a couple of shops but the guides nor shop personnel are pushy at all. Actually we’re enjoyable elements of the tour.

The day trip to Essaouira was AMAZING! The seaside town itself is incredibly beautiful and a nice break from the desert atmosphere of Marrakech. The driver took us to some touristy spots (goats in argan trees), and of course we loved that, and our guide in town was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

Our driver (Hussein I believe, apologies hopeless with names) was absolutely amazing. Safe driver, knowledgeable along travel to destination was very considerate.Guide on arrival was brilliant loved the entire experience could easily spend a couple of days there. Lunch venue (chosen by Viator) was delicious and in a great location.

An excellent trip to Essaouira with our driver Miloud, who provided running commentary and answered our numerous questions on the 2 and half hour ride. Essaouira, a fishing village and resort town on the Atlantic coast, was a nice respite from the hectic pace of Marrakech. In Essaouira, we were med by Abdul who guided us on a winding tour from the fishing harbor and market built by the Portuguese in the 15th century through the medina. Abdul was very knowledgeable about the mixed cultural heritage which enriched the town -- Spanish Andalucian settlers, Sephardic Jews after the Spanish Inquisition. Portuguese and Dutch explorers, French colonization and Islam. We learned a great deal about local life and traditions. It was a worthwhile experience.

Beautiful place. A lot cooler than Marrakesh when we went so be prepared for that. Lovely driver who went out of his way to give us an extra special tour.

Our trip to Essaouira was wonderful. Mohammed picked us up from our riad in a comfortable large car and drove us to Essaouira. He asked what we were interested in seeing, did not push us to visit anything we didn't want to see. We stopped a couple of times to see a views and also the women's argan oil cooperative worth a visit, very clean toilets. He then introduced us to Aziz, our enthusiastic and friendly guide in Essaouira. He is a local and was able to tell us about the community and best places to shop. He then took us to a great spot on the beach for a lovely lunch. We had some time to wander the streets by ourselves after lunch and Mohammed meet us at the agreed time and place for our drive back. A great experience with very helpful, friendly people.

We very much enjoyed our trip! The driver and the guide were both very nice and helpful. Essaouira is a lovely coastal city. A nice contrast to Marrakesh. I would highly recommend this tour.
