I would highly recommend! He was very helpful right from the point we made the booking. The tour around the souk took in everything we wanted to see and he tailored it so that it worked for our kids as well (6 &10). He really went out of his way for us and can't recommend this tour enough.

Tour didn't take place

Unfortunately, the tour did not take place. We waited for around 45 minutes at the meeting point without any prior notice or communication, which was disappointing and disrupted our plans. We later learned there was a personal emergency, which we understand and wish the best for. Communication afterwards was polite, and an alternative was offered, but earlier notice would have made a big difference.

Terrific historical and cultural tour of center city

I had a terrific experience with Abdullah. We arranged for a pickup at my apartment (separate from the experience as I was staying near the Palmeraie). On the way Abdullah gave me more history and context of Marrakesh to understand its development into the city it is today. When we arrived at the Medina we had an exquisite walking tour throughout multiple shops, alleys, squares and finally the centerpoint city mosque. Abdullah and I had great conversation, and he was able to tell me details about all of the attractions in the area. He had connection points with certain vendors that were more trustworthy related to items you might be interested in purchasing (spices, pastries, creams/oils, etc.). He was also able to show me some less travelled areas that were residential and historical (most places if you were visiting and touring alone you would have missed or hesitated to travel because there were far less stores). But it was very interesting in the residential areas to understand how old the buildings were and how they have been converted into luxury residential spaces. The open squares were entertaining and Abdullah guided me to restaurants and eateries that would be best for food and experiences. Overall a terrific experience, especially if traveling to center city for the first time. Highly recommend!

The City tour has been great to provide you with an inside history and view of the inner workings of Marrakech. I found out a great deal about the history of some of the oldest parts of Marrakech and the main souks. I would suggest that anyone wanting to know the history and inside history of the main square and market that they take this tour.

Terrific Half Day Your of Marrakech Medina and Souks

Abdul was an excellent guide for our 3 hour tour of the Marrakech Medina and its markets. He did a great job of not only taking us through all the main pathways of the markets, but also off the beaten path where we got to see many of the crafts people creating their work. We especially appreciated that he listened to what we were most interested in, and as a result emphasized the culture and historical aspects of what we were seeing rather than just the shopping. Abdul’s English was first rate and he is also just a very pleasant person to be around. We recommended him to people we met later in our trip who were headed to Marrakech.

Abdo was fantastic! He took my parents around at a pace perfect for them and adjusted the tour based on their interests. My mother in particular had a wonderful time despite it being a really hot day. Abdo ended up meeting them at their hotel because they were concerned about meeting at a busy cafe and not finding him. Abdo provided an absolutely fantastic private tour of the Marrakech Medina! Navigating the Medina can be a daunting experience, like wandering through a maze, but Abdo made it not only manageable but truly enjoyable, even with our young children. He took us to hidden gems where we experienced authentic local cuisine that we would never have discovered on our own. Awesome time with Adbu, hands down the best guide in marakech and morocco! savy guide, friendly, incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it, although this city is pretty much tourist friendly, having a local showing the top spots always helps. we booked last minute and lucky us we got the best guide in all the 10 days we spent in morocco. we ended the day with a new friend. toured a few historical landmarks, the souks and a few other unplanned things......
