Wear good walking shoes...

Wear good walking shoes and bring a fan. It wasn’t clear to us that they pick you up and drop you off at the starting point in a vehicle. On a private tour if you modify the standard itinerary make sure it is communicated to the guide and agreed at the start. Guide was knowledgeable about all the spots we visited. Part of the tour time included time for lunch. We didn’t want to do the souks yet found ourselves in the souks a lot.

We went through the market exploring many of the halls that we may not have if we were on our own. When it came time to shopping we were directed to the local artisans rather than the imported goods. This tour gave us a good introduction to Marrakech!. Showed is lots of the sights of the city. We would have liked to have gone into the Mosque, but did not know if this was allowed. Our lunch ran over schedule so we missed some parts of the Sooks - but was well worth it!! Ismail was very knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting facts. He was a good host. Only slight negative was ( and not the fault of the tour arrangers!) was seeing monkey's chained up. snakes used for entertainment and donkeys carrying massive loads, made us all feel sad.

Good way to cover highlights in a short amount of time

Excellent knowledgeable guide who took us all over to palaces, a school, cemetery, and the square and market. Be sure to buy your tickets to the garden ahead of time- they are not included and will sell out. Our guide walked us through the large square and market and gave us tips on how to bargain and cautioned us about potential scams. The guide did take us to two demonstrations - shoes and products - but it was fun to visit the stores and there was no pressure to buy.

This is not what I wanted. Normally, whenever I see no private transportation, it means that we share a vehicle. At the end of my tour, I had to pay for the taxi which was 400 MAD. I was upset and I truly overpaid. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! There are private guides who cost way less on other platforms.
