Itinerary
Take an adventure into the desert as you traverse the beautiful arid landscape of the countryside outside Marrakech on the back of a 4WD quad bike. Best of all, this small group ride is limited to no more than five guests, ensuring personalized attention from your guide.
Start your adventure (either in the morning or afternoon) with a pickup by minibus from your Marrakech hotel, keeping in mind that some properties in the Medina will require a short walk to your transport because they are not accessible by car. Then continue into the desert location for the start of your ride.
Meet your guide for the day and enjoy a short safety introduction, during which you’ll also get a lesson in proper handling of your quad bike (sometimes called an ATV). Then zip off into the dusty trails and sublime landscapes of this beautiful area. Follow your guide as they lead you towards the best routes, passing beautiful groves of palm trees, desiccated riverbeds and volcanic geology features called jbilets that formed over millions of years. As you ride, your guide will check in with all participants to make sure everyone is proceeding at a safe and enjoyable speed.
Proceed on your quad bike further into the desert, passing remote Berber villages and admiring the typical houses of the area, stopping to meet locals along the way. It’s a great chance to learn about this culture that retains many of the centuries-old customs and daily rituals of ancient desert life. Soon you’ll stop at the home of a local family for a snack and cup of Moroccan tea. Your guide will serve as translator as you gain new insight into the lives of this friendly and hospitable family.
Continue back through the starkly beautiful terrain on your ATV, eventually returning to the base camp where you began your ride. Finish the day with drop-off back at your Marrakech hotel.

This afternoon was so much fun! you see so much of the unexplored and rural Marrakech that you really do not expect to see on your visit. The introduction is very quick and simple, and you get riding straight away through the dirt tracks and through small berber villages. We stopped after an hour and a half of riding at a very small village where we were given traditional mint tea and Msemen crepe type cake with hone, in a traditional berber house, before riding back for another 45 minutes. It was a really great afternoon, very well organised and a fab alternative to the markets, etc. Would definitely recommend for something different and very fun!

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area! Everything went smoothly - from hotel pick-up to initial introduction to Quad biking. The ride was fun and exciting. Lots of opportunities to stop and take photos of the amazing landscape and views. Also stopped by a local village to have some Moroccan Mint tea and pancakes. Great way to spend a part of your day out in the dunes! Highly recommended!

We had tons of fun! It would have been an even better experience if a lady in our group wasn't going so slow and slowing the rest of us down. Perhaps the groups should have been broken up differently for those who want to go faster, but generally, everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

Great 1/2 day tour. We really enjoyed our trip to the desert. The ride was very dusty which was to be expected. The admin was quick when we arrived at Palm Grove. We were given suitable clothing and were quickly on our way. We travelled with our guide in a small group of 5 bikes. The speed was reasonably fast but not too fast. We stopped after about an hour for some locally made pancakes and tea sitting on carpets in the middle of the desert. There were basic but clean toilets here. There was one 100 year old mud house that we were shown around-amazing to think people still live like this. More, and now maybe a little faster driving back to the beginning passing through a small group of sand dunes along the way : scary for me so we drove flat though the middle rather than up the sides and back to the beginning for a quick dust down and return to our hotel. Well worthwhile.

A thoroughly enjoyable half day tour. I'd never been on a quad bike before but had a good experience. My guide- whose name I can't pronounce- was great. He gave me a practice session and explained everything clearly. The honey cakes and mint tea with the family in the desert was nice and much needed. You will get covered in dust from head to toe, so I've given it four stars because I asked whether I should wear a long sleeved top or jacket and I was told no. I was a little bit cold without one, but it was fun all the same. I would recommend this tour and would definately do it again.

I think this is way over hyped. If you have never been on a Quad bike then maybe you will like it. It was very blasé if i'm honest.
Even though it stated we would be picked up in a minibus me and my 2 friends were in fact picked up in a cramped 4x4 which had virtually no room to sit in the back. All of us are over 6 foot and it was a uncomfortable and dangerous ride. Two other tourists we in the car already.
The reason i mention this is because 1 of my friends badly sprained his ankle due to the cramped conditions in which we were transported.
It ruined the rest of our holiday. The staff did not care.
The actual tour is underwhelming as the most you get to do it follow someone at 15mph 20 meters in front of you. Not take in the scenery or actually enjoy using the Quad, which you paid for. The guide was extremely strict and stopped us a few times and told us off for not looking forward and keeping equal distance from one another. He sucked enjoyment and fun out of the experience.
The stale pancakes and sweet mint tea were nice but seriously over hyped. It's just a small pit stop before you ride back quickly.
If going very slow and following someone in a straight line is what gets you excited then book this trip. If not then i would probably avoid. Sad really as it could have been really awesome.

Without a doubt this was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. It was absolutely exhilarating, yet we felt safe the whole time. Our guide was friendly and ensured we were having a good time. The Moroccan pancakes and tea were delicious and we were welcomed with smiles into a locals home. If you're looking to ride quad bikes, this is the place to go.

Amazing experience. From pick up to drop off it was extremely well organised. Everyone was friendly and looked after us well. The scenery is amazing and the tea and pancakes was literally in the middle of the desert. Be warned you do get covered in lots of red dust so wear older clothes. I would 100 recommend this trip!

We all enjoyed the tour but felt that the tour guide was very strict considering my family of 4 had done quad biking many times before. We had hoped it would be a fun experience with an occasional speed for fun being introduced. However this was not the case and he kept telling us off, although we were all very safe. It could have been made more enjoyable if the guide was not so miserable!

Great afternoon ride on the quad bikes, its worth wearing long trousers on this trip as the engines can get hot and then you begin to feel the heat on the calf's. Would also be worth taking a pair of gloves because of the vibration something like cycle gloves. Guide was really good and spoke excellent English, only 4 people on tour which made an excellent afternoon. Would highly recommend. Pick up and drop off from and too hotel great service. All other equipment provided, helmet, goggles. Also a good stop off for tea and pancakes, a nice touch.

Really enjoyable, but a big down side is the guide leading us in the quad bike was really rude. My wife wasn't comfortable going full speed but we felt pressured from him to go faster as he raised his voice and visibly became angry. It ruined something that we could have enjoyed a lot more.

Equipment is in good shape, modern. Guide was good as well. They give you all the gear you would need for any kind of weather...including pants and jackets. They were on time to pick us up at the hotel. All in all, great fun.

This was the highlight of our trip. Excellent value for money. Very safe and a fab way to see the dessert. The quads were so easy ( 1st time rider) my fella didn't want it to end :-) we went for miles on the quads and felt thoroughly happy with the way it was ran and how long we had. Thanks guys :-)
