Good half day tour yo the foothills of the Atlas mountains. Only 1hr drive and a short 30 min walk. Very enjoyable berber breakfast

This tour gave us an interesting insight into the history of the region and the beautiful scenery of the Ourika Valley. Our guide, Abdel, showed us plenty of sights while narrating the history of the area and Morocco more generally. He was very knowledgeable and charming and we learnt a lot from him in a short space of time. We stopped at interesting and scenic spots and went for a walk in the mountains. We were a small group so we had the chance to ask plenty of questions. It was a half day tour which packed in a lot and gave us a good introduction to the area. I would definitely recommend the tour and also Abdel, he was a fantastic guide.

A laidback and relaxed way to take a break from the hustle of the city. The weather was gorgeous with clear blue skies and our driver Mohammad did a great job keeping us entertained with historical and geographical information, even helped us buy Atay (tea) from the local grocery store :). Especially enjoyed drinking tea by the flowing river and having the Berber breakfast with the kitty family :).

The driver/guide was very knowledgeable so we felt we knew a lot more about Morocco after our trip. The walk in the mountains was quite baron and the views were not as spectacular as we thought they might be. The traditional Berber breakfast and argon oil experience was lovely.

Great communication from start and the organiser. Pick up was there early. Guide was accommodating throughout and was both knowledgeable and entertaining with his commentary. Chose this as walk wasn’t too strenuous and path was more stable.

Great tour! Mohammud was the the best! Very knowledgeable about the area and had a good energy. Would recommend!

This is a relaxing way to gain a cultural view of Marrakesh & the Atlas Mountains.
I think maybe 1 stop for tea is enough but other than that well organised. Our guide was excellent

This tour is a lovely relaxing way to experience part of the Atlas Mountains. Our guide Abdul was very knowledgeable about the area and Moroccan history. He was very kind and made sure we got out of the half day what we wanted to see and do. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Perfect for a day when you want to get out of the busy city and relax. Our driver Abdul gave a us a wonderful ride giving us so much history on the Berber and Moroccan culture. He let us take as much time as we wanted at each of the stops. Stops included a cliff side stop for photos at the mountain, a quick mountainside hike, stopping for breakfast at the Argan oil co-op where you learn about how the oil is made, and a riverside spot for drinks. Such a beautiful morning/afternoon in the Atlas Mountains, definitely recommend!

The actual trip was okay, nice way to see some of Morocco which is different to Marrakesh. Would of gave the trip 3/4 stars but Abdul made it a 5, very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions! The berker breakfast and argon oil experience was lovely and the lady was very nice.
Chloe_L, Jun 2025
Marwan was very helpful! Was a nice easy tour, didn’t have a ton going on but was enjoyable to see the other parts of Morocco outside marrakesh
Suzanne_C, Apr 2025
Fact packed day trip with fabulous and generous Berber meal and numerous photo opportunities - definitely recommend
Abdul is a great guide & Mohamed a great driver!

We were lucky with our guide but unlucky with the weather,it rained,a lot!!! We still enjoyed all the information that our guide provided.
christine_g, Jan 2025
Unfortunately it poured with rain so we couldn’t do all the itinerary…
Only went to argan oil makers and then back …
david_w, Jan 2025
Marwal was a great guide through the Atlas Mointains. He shared very insightful information and was an open book to many aspects beyond the sites including aspects of Moroccan culture
Sophie_B, Jan 2025
Good communications with the organiser around meeting point. Our driver / guide (Marwaa) was excellent - very knowledgeable about the area and the history and good english which meant we could chat freely with him. It was nice to see another aspect of Morocco outside of Marrakesh. Our only slight let down is that we were not able to see the waterfalls as that aspect of the trip stopped following the earthquake in 2023. Whilst we completely understand this the advertisement of the excursion and photos of it clearly show waterfall walks and this was misleading. The description and photos should be updated.

Really relaxed and great to see/walk part of the Atlas mountains in half a day. Our tour guide in Manwar (Numpty) was just great, so friendly and informative (and great fun). 10/10! Great value and tea by the river to top it off!
Carmen_D, Jan 2025
Thank you abdul for your knowledge and good experience in Ourika. All excellent
Good to see the natural atlas mountains
Michun_N, Dec 2024
Our tour guide Abdul was very knowledgeable and kind. It was an excellent tour! The Atlas Mountains were breathtakingly beautiful.
kerry_g, Nov 2024
Abdul our guide was perfect. We chose the smaller tour and we were a group of 3 and there was 1 other couple. Going early in the day avoids the crowds especially at the weekend. We leant a lot about the region and people and loved the women Co operative making argan oil. It was cooler in the mountains and you need robust shoes as the walk to the waterfall is all up and rugged need to be quite fit. It’s one hr to get up and back. Even if u don’t go up to the waterfall it’s worth it. Our tour was about 5 hrs
duncan_b, Nov 2024
Our guide was amazing .. he shared his knowledge of the local area and made the experience fun and we learned so much about Marrakesh. And taking in the stunning views topped the day off .
Thank you 👍

We escaped the busy town of Marrekech on a tour of the atlas Mountains and Ourika Valley.
It didn't disappoint! It wasn't our drivers usual job as he was covering for a ill family member. We wouldn't have known if he didn't say. He was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information along the way.
Lots of chances to try local produce and photo opportunities along the way.
Would definitely recommend you take this tour whilst visiting Marrekech!

Fantasticbguide. Abdul was incredibly kind and insightful. The views were lovely and a good way of getting a taste of the area whilst not eating into a limited time budget.
Donna_M, Oct 2024
We had the most amazing time. Our guide Abdul was excellent and so knowledgeable.
The breakfast provided was delicious and it was so interesting to see Argan oil being made. Throughly enjoyed the whole experience.
