Ibrahim picked us on time, a long journey which was made interesting by our driver gave us lots of cultural information as we passed through the towns. The drive through the Atlas Mountains were stunning. The camel ride to see the sunset was stunning and the tent was extremely comfortable with an en suite. It was early rise to see the sunrise but was worth it. The only thing was that we could carry onto Fez as we had planned as we had no way of returning to Marrakesh as the arrival time was 8pm in Fez. But we were able to change to return to return to Marrakesh. It is a 9 hr journey from Marrakesh to the Merzouga Dunes and then another 9 hrs onto Fez. It was definitely a bucket list adventure.
