This was a very nice tour to the lovely city of Essaouria. The operator got in touch with me early to provide all needed information to get to the van. There, a driver and our lovely tour guide Charaf (Pakita!!) were waiting for us. During the trip, Charaf shared with us some rich information about his Berber culture and the landscapes on the way. At the end, they were waiting for us on time and left us at the pick up point.

Is just a transfer from Marrakech to Essaouira. Do not expect anything else. The driver/tour guide wasn't engaging. There were 2 stops, 1 for using the bathroom and/or refreshments and the other one was at a women cooperative for argan oil. These stops were all in a rush. The temperature was warm and when asking to turn the aircon, the bus driver was reluctant to do so. The driver was most of the time on the phone and I wasn't feeling safe on this bus.

The driver didn't even introduce himself because he knew what he was going to do; he was driving like a crazy person. Kept circling and stopping around Marrakech and it took us 4h to get there.
On the way there he was so slow I would've been faster running there. Going 50 on a 100 road and then of course on the way back we were really fast because he was speeding of course. He wanted to get home really fast clearly as the next day it's Eid.
While driving kept the window down when it was cold and air conditioner was working perfectly. We had to tell him multiple times to close it because it was cold. Lying saying that it wasn't working when it completely was as as soon as we got in we closed it because it was cold. And then suddenly 15 minutes before arriving Essaouira he said it was working.
Of course we stopped at a café where they'd know the sellers.
Drove while talking on the phone the entire trip and at the end dropped people where they weren't supposed to be dropped.
Almost crashed into other cars multiple times and wouldn't even check if everyone was on the bus.

The driver was fun and easy going.
The add states 8 5hrs for the tour yet it took 11hrs. This was the most disappointing as I had train ride booked and lost my fee and had to repurchase ticket again.
There was no option given if we wanted to do a walking tour of Essaouira. Every other tour I've done have option if you want to do a tour we have a guide, buy no option given.

Well, it started with the driver picking my wife and me up at 9:00am... an hour after the quoted 8:00am time. From there we were driven around while they picked up and dropped off other people on other tours. Then they stopped at a gas station and had to change vehicles. Poor communication and your company employees yelling at each other. It's now 10:00am we begin heading out of town and the driver pulls over. There was supposed to be a english speaking guide. We had no guide, just the driver who spoke French and Arabic but offered nothing in the way of being a tour guide. During the time we were riding around and sitting on the side of the road, the driver was either talking to a woman on the phone (We think it was his wife) or sneezing or coughing. I was sitting in the front seat and was exposed to it non- stop. Several times I asked him to cover his mouth. He would not. I have Leukaemia and my immune system is not what it once was. We stopped for a bathroom break and he started coughing and I covered my mouth with my hand and said COVER, COVER, COVER. His response was "NO" then he said something in French and aggressively poked me with his finger. We arrived at our destination 5 hours after the quoted start time. It was only 2.5 hours away. Traveling international is not inexpensive, so when you waste time driving around and then sitting on the side of the road, you will think twice the next time you book a tour. The next time this driver does something like this, he might run up on someone that's not 64 with cancer. Overall, he was the worst driver/guide we've ever had and he needs to take lessons in customer service. Best part, no one on the trip tipped him. Oh. getting back to Marrakech so late, we missed our planned dinner.

Note that the trip only includes transfer. You will have 3,5 hours in Essaouira which is more than enough. The driver will expect some tip at the end, otherwise gets mad at you.

Great trip from Marrakech! Our driver was great and shared some local knowledge and pointed out interesting sites along the way (3 hours each way). When we arrived in Essaouira we met a local guide who took us around the city and showed us all the historical landmarks as well as gave us a guided run through of the Medina and made a great lunch suggestion. Essaouira is gorgeous and a very different feel from Marrakech. It was about 20 degrees cooler; the Medinas were less shadowy , had no hagglers, and had pretty painted doors; the view of the ocean is phenomenal, and the town is much quieter. On the way back I requested that we skip the Argan Oil demonstration because we’d seen it twice on other tours. I intended to ask about going by a local vineyard but I think the language barrier broke down because our driver took me to a grocery store for wine. Given this is a Muslim country I was not at all annoyed, rather appreciative and felt the driver was above and beyond. When we returned he dropped us as close to the riad as possible, asked if we knew our way back, and even pointed out we’d gotten a little too much sun on our arms. Fabulous trip!

Had a very lovely day spending the day at a different city and by the beach in the 40 degree weather that day! Really made the right choice to go on the hottest day of the week. The city is very different to Marrakech, it's a lot calmer, we enjoyed the walks through the Medina and the little restaurants they have on each alley. We ended up at Restaurant Amira which is known for their fresh octopus. And let me tell you it was just divine! We also sat in one of their famous beach cafes and had Moroccon tea and just relaxed before we ended up in the sea which was just perfect in that weather. Overall really worth the trip when you want to get away for a bit from the busyness of Marrakech

Apart from having to wait an hour because other people were not at the right rendez vous point, we left at 9am instead of 8am and lost 1hr on our journey. However the cleanliness and the charm of this lovely city and its beach makes this trip well worth the 15 euros we all paid. Excellent driver too

Had a great time visiting Essaouira. Very nice beach city on the coast of Morocco with nice architecture, medians, forts, and restaurants. One of the favorite parts of our trip to Morocco. Would highly recommend to visit. Colorful and vibrant city.

Ahmed picked me up at hotel..we drive three hours to Essaouira..stopping on way to see the goat trees..argan oil production and coffee stop
He asked if we wanted him to come with us once we were there but we all decided to do our own thing

The operator abandoned me and my children at Marakesh square and didn’t return us to the hotel. I had to pay 200 dirhams back to the hotel. I hope you refund my money.

Drivers go super super slowly and from marrakesh to essaioura the distance is 180km/h. 20’ stops in both ways to a cafe too long and a stop into argan shop 30’. Highly not recommend

I liked that we stopped at the argan oil co-op, we had a great private guide. Dahan knows the history of the town. We picked our fish with him and had a great meal at this little restaurant. Love this town.

The journey was extremely long(11 hours) food and drinks are too expensive at the shops we stopped at.
They could just took us to the market, things are very affordable compared to where we stopped at, which prices are 3 times more.
The open market and the beach are the most instresting

Pick up at the hotel was perfectly in time and the ride (3 jours) had a couple of nice breaks. The only negative point is that the legspace was really limited. Essaouira is certainly worth the trip

Great day trip from Marrakech! Transported in air conditioned luxury van, Aziz was a great driver — stopping for snacks & photo opportunities and we were able to see the goats in the trees and camels en route. Very accommodating as were we a large group with small children. Our tour guide in Essaouira, Ahmed, was exceptional. He was very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. He definitely made the experience memorable. Would highly recommend!

Very nice day trip to Essaouira! The driver Hamid was really nice as well and gave us lots of tips during the journey.
Once in Essaouira we have been guided by a local tour guide who gave us a detailed story and tour of the city. We went to the harbor just when the phisher men came back and bought our seafood for lunch there that went directly to the restaurant kitchen we would be eating.
Essaouira is definitely worth a visit and is much prettier and quieter than Marrakech where we were staying.
On the way to Essaouira you will stop once to see the "goats in the trees" which are put there by people (NB: you don't have to pay), and a stop in a argan oil factory where they give you a tour.

Le chauffeur sont ponctuel. Le petit car est confortable. Le chauffeur a l'aimabilité de nous déposer à notre résidence qui est en dehors de médina. Par contre, au départ nous avons du attendre un peu long, plus une demi-heure pour que tous les passagers soient arrivés.
Le médina d' Essaouira est belle. Si vous aimez les fruits de mer il ne faut pas louper l'occasion à les déguster autour des kios ou déjeuner aux stands de grillades au port, à prix très abordables et dans l'ambiance d'un marché de poisson (attention : ça sent fort ).

J'ai un avis tres mitigé sur cette excursion la ville semble très belle mais on a pas osé s'aventurer car on avait peur de se perdre.
On était sensé avoir un guide mais on en a pas vu la couleur donc on a pas pu voir Essaouira comme on aurait dû et dommage !
Déçu de cette excursions
Et l'arrêt à la coopérative d'huile d'Argan était de trop car explications et visite bâclée et produit bcp trop cher comparer à celle que l'on a vu sur une autre excursion (vallée de l'Ourika)

Le chauffeur a eu 1h20 de retard et en plus de cela il est parti sans nous. J’ai ai fait des excursions a Marrakech et je donne toujours des bons avis mais la c’est juste inacceptable.
