We had a great day! We saw a lot of interesting things, production of arogan oil, beautiful waterfalls, Berbers villages and their life, culture. We had a delicious Moroccan lunch and Berber wiskey was perfect. The driver was also nice and he was driving safe. Our travel guide Hamid, was very friendly, understandable, adjustable, he took care everywhere on us, he was explaining on funny way, we teach a lot. And at the end we also got gift from him. Shukran! 100% recommend!

We went on this trip months ago and completely forgot to rate it!! This was our favorite tour by far. Camel rides in the desert, hikes in the Imlil valley, and having lunch with his mom and neighbor made for the perfect day in Morocco. The guides were so kind and we’d definitely do this tour again if we find ourselves in Marrakech again!

Amazing tour with the nicest group of tourists! The camel ride was great, then the hike 1hr 30 mins was awesome as well. Lunch was amazing, cooked by the guide’s mom! Amazing food! Thank you!

This was an awesome trip. The entire day was great. Our guide first took us for a camel ride and that was really cool. The camel staff was great and they took plenty of pictures for us and an awesome video of the entire group! Then to a cooperative where everything was explained in detail and nothing was forced on us. We had tea every time! Then we hiked a small portion of the Atlas Mountains and had lunch at the guide’s home, cooked by his mom! The table was nicely set for our group and we couldn’t ask for more. The food was amazing, better than anywhere in Morocco. The hike was about 1 hour and 30 mins and we went to 3 water falls and the photos going and coming back are priceless. Thank you. Very well organized tour. Really nice group of tourists.

Great hike and beautiful scenery

The hike and village visit was the highlight of the trip. The scenery was beautiful and well worth the excursion from Marrakech. The camel ride is probably not necessary, and skipping it would have allowed for more time hiking in the valley.

An enjoyable day from start to finish. Wear sensible walking shoes and take sun screen and water. Our guide Housain took us on an early camel ride which was most appreciated. The climb is not for the faint hearted a moderate level of fitness is required. You can opt for a mule ride which is an easier option although you could miss the waterfront and some of the villages. Lunch in Housain's family home was awesome. Home cooked with love and plenty of it. So so peaceful and tasty. They cater for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. We were collected from our hotel Be Live Experience Marrakech and dropped back at the end of the day around 5.45pm. We cannot recommend this highly enough our guide Housain was so friendly and encouraging. A chance to see the real Marrakech in the hills that really shouldn't be missed. Date of trip 30th September 2019.

From start to finish I was so impressed with this tour and our guide. He was incredibly friendly, funny and gave a fantastic insight into life of the Berber people and what it was like to live in the Atlas mountains. I was blown away by how much we managed to fit into the day and the value for money! I would highly recommend this tour! Fantastic day out!

If you are looking to taste a bit of Atlas village life and walk in the nature without missing the must-do camel ride this is the perfect tour! Our guide Ahmed was knowledgable, friendly and so warm hearted that he open his own house doors and hosted us for lunch. Very affordable price as well, you would not expect to see that much! 100% recommended.

Unbelievable Value and Superb Guide

What a great day! Myself and my wife had an unbelievable day and would rate it as one of favourite trips we have ever done throughout our many years of holidaying. Elhoussain put us at ease from the minute we booked on Viator with quick responses to emails, punctual collection (normally a given but on other larger tour companies this was there downfall when in Marrakesh) and was a very knowledgable guide. The value for money on this trip is insanely good and we would of happily paid double to do what we did. For €30 we got a 3 course meal, free transfers, a small meal in the argan oil coop and a camel ride (Camel ride in our hotel was €30 on it's own with no transfers). I could not recommend this tour enough to any of my family and friends and hope you enjoy your day with Elhoussain as much as we did.

We booked online not too sure what to expect but what an amazing tour. The best value for money tour we thought. It included so much, history about every area! Camel ride, oil cooperative, a lovely lunch at the host’s family home and water. Unbelievable tour, do not hesitate to book, you will miss you if you don’t go!

One of the best tours I've been on. The tour guide is incredibly welcoming and makes the tour interesting at all moments - even when in the minibus etc. Visiting a real locals house in the mountains was a great experience and having an authentic lunch there was amazing. Book this one rather than the many others on Viator!

This was my second tour with Houssain and just like the first it was the highlight of my Morocco trip. So many different experiences in one day-- the best camel ride I’ve experienced so far, fresh fruit from the local farmer’s market, then tasted some amazing argan oil at the co-op, followed by a perfect hike through gorgeous surroundings (with fresh cold OJ right next to a waterfall, awesome!). Best of all we enjoyed a relaxing chat and an excellent home-cooked tagine lunch prepared by Houssain’s sweet mother on the terrace of his home overlooking the mountains in a Berber village. Even during the drive there was always something interesting to see & photograph. Everyone should have this experience at least once in their lifetime.

Merci beaucoup à notre guide très attentionné et au chauffeur très prudent. Notre tour a commencé avec une petite ballade en dromadaire pour prendre un peu de hauteur, puis nous avons visité une fabrique de produits à base d'argan avec explications détaillées, arrêts en cours de route sur différents points de vue et ensuite ballade à pied... ou en mule pour ceux qui ont des difficultés à marcher ce qui était mon cas. Repas en terrasse face au Toubkal enneigé, dépaysement total Excursion à recommander

Magnifique petite randonnée depuis Imlil jusqu’a Aremd, village de notre guide. Découverte de la vallée avec la floraison des cerisiers et les sommets enneigés de l’Atlas. Certains d’entre nous ont choisis de balader à dos de mules. Organisation parfaite. Tajine délicieusement préparée par la maman d’Elhoussein notre guide. Une journée de bonheur permis les berbères de l’Atlas. Je recommande scincerement Elhousein pour son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse.

Excursion à recommander avec ce guide qui connait très bien la région et ses codes. Le must : visite d'un petit village berbère et repas le midi cuisiné que pour le groupe, avec vue sur les montagnes. Une grande journée de découverte et de bonnes surprises, le guide s'adapte aux besoins de chacun, et toujours avec amabilité, sérieux et bonheur. Nous retenons son idée "time is not money"
