Excellence in the desert

Superb evening. The location was well past many lower quality operations, and set in a lovely farm/homestead location. A full hour of camel riding with well kept camels, good scenery near Agafay. A full hour of quad bike riding across a variety of surfaces and into the desert. Dinner was superb - simple but well spiced and looking out over beautiful mountainous scenery and with drum and fire show. All in all an excellent evening and a highlight of our holiday.

Overall experience was good. Although we purchased a 5:30 trip, we were contacted that we were leaving shortly after 2pm. We were contacted via WhatsApp mid morning regarding the change in time. Thank goodness we were in a position to make the earlier time. Company was very communicative and let us know right where to meet for pick up. The van proceeded to pick up other passengers. We arrived at the destination where the quads and camels were about 1hr 30 min from pick up time. Quad ride was just under an hour with a couple of stops to take pictures. Camel ride was 15 minutes. Quads - you followed in a single line. Each person had their own quad. You do not get to ride off on your own. Camels were single line attached to each other by a rope. A guide walked the camels around for the 15 minutes. The dinner was in a large U-shaped tent with several other people. I’d say over 200 people. Was nice to socialize and the food was good. Tagine, couscous and vegetables. Entertainment was good as well. It did get cold and windy in the desert mountains, so dress accordingly.

This was WORTH it! The value is so high. We started with quad bikes for 2 hours and honestly that was my favorite part. I love exhilarating things. We stopped for tea TWICE and I’m a huge tea fanatic. I wish I had more time to take solo pictures but then again I’m an influencer so I take too much content anyways. Everyone is soooo nice and I felt like royalty. The camel ride was into the sunset and was SO beautiful. We then ended with dinner and a show. This trip also included constant communication and location pickup and drop off. Don’t hesitate. Just book.
