Nice camp

The organization was good, good comunication and the guy that took us with the camel was very gentle. The camp is very nice (we were in the black one not the highest level), there was hot water and food was very good. The activity in the evening with the music was nice but very turistical. We were a group of 7 and we all felt very uncomfortable in the evening. Nothing strange happened, but they are all very young guys and they dont speak english very well. They were flirting with all girls so the vibe was a bit off. In general good experience, but I will reccomend to have more senior people speaking english to feel safer.

The trip was exactly as described, Luxury Camp was great (showers!), staff was helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfast included (uneven, but acceptable). And the erg is, of course, magnificent.

Amazing, required for your Morocco trip

What an amazing experience! I booked the luxury overnight camp for 2 We started at a Riad in Merzouga, took a short car ride to the camels, then our guide Brahim led us through the desert for about 90 minutes. We stopped for pictures and took a few minutes to sandboard down a hill. When we got to the camp, the sun had gone down and we waited just a short while for a lovely dinner that had us so full we could not finish. The tents are astounding and much better than you would ever expect a desert camp to be. Showers / toilets, AC, the works. Overnight sleep went well, it was a bit noisy in the late hours (around 2am we could hear some playful shouting and music playing) but it wasn’t all too bad. The morning breakfast was great (coffee, espresso, milk, fruit, eggs, an egg tagine, breads, spreads). You can choose to ride a camel back to the Riad or take a car through the dunes — we chose the car and are glad we did because the ride over the dunes was just as fun as anything else! It is a bit of a trek to get there if you are travelling from a major city like Marrakesh — something like 9 hours. We drove a rental and I’d recommend using a driver (even if it means the rest of your trip goes without a rental car — you’ll be better off and much better rested). You can also stay at the Riad Madu which looked to be a fabulous Riad.

Very luxury camp, Very good dinner, Very friendly staff! The desert itself it's a bit dissapointing because it's full of 4*4 tracks, electric cables and houses. But the camp itself is super good!

Viaggio stupendo di andata con il cammello e falò serale, anche se tenuto in un altro accampamento. Poco organizzato rispetto a quanto riportato, condizioni igieniche assenti, cibo mediocre. Assenza del coordinatore. Rapporto qualità prezzo basso.

Mooie tour!

Mooie rit op de dromedarus naar het kamp gehad. Rustig aangekomen en een welkoms thee gekregen. Qua diner vielen het voorgerecht en nagerecht wel wat tegen. Hoofdgerecht wel een heerlijke tajine. Later op de avond gezellig bij het vuur met muziek, onder een helaas bewolkte hemel. Maar aan het laatste kan de organisatie natuurlijk niets doen! De tent waarin wij sliepen was zeer ruim en had een goed bed. Neem wel wat warme kleren mee voor in de nacht!

Magnifique expérience!

Une expérience unique à refaire! Une équipe professionnelle et serviable! Après une chevauchée en dromadaires de +1h pour s’enfoncer dans le désert(une pause photo entre…), on arrive au campement. Vraiment Une grande tente de luxe avec salle de bain complète! On est très bien reçu avec du thé et mélange de noix sur notre patio devant notre tente. Moment de relaxation à admirer le couché du Soleil. On nous convie à aller à la salle à manger pour des mets délicieux typiquement berbères. Après une pause à notre patio, on nous invite à aller autour d’un feu pour écouter tam tam et chants berbères. Dans la noirceur du désert on admire les étoiles, on danse. C’est envoûtant et relaxant! Après discussions et jeux de cartes avec la famille, dodo…Debout pour le leve du soleil. Douche et le 4x4 nous attend pour quitter le camp. Le chauffeur nous donne des sensations forte en “attaquant” les dunes de sables. On se croirait dans un parc d’attraction!!! Et c’est fini! Vraiment à refaire!

La quiétude du désert

Séjour agréable. Un peu douloureux quand on n'a pas l'habitude de voyager avec un dromadaire, cependant la vue est époustouflante, et le couché de soleil magique. Attention, une fois le soleil couché, ça se rafraîchit rapidement, malgré la chaleur de la journée. Le repas était très bon et très copieux. Soirée agréable au rythme des tambours.
