I had the experience of going with my wife, and to be honest, we were a bit nervous because of some negative reviews we had read beforehand. However, from the very beginning, the staff treated us with great respect and kindness. They took us to every place described in the app, and everything was exactly as promised. We were extremely happy with the entire team. There were about 15 people from different nationalities (Italians, Scottish, Irish, Spanish, and us, Puerto Ricans), and we all got along incredibly well—we even made great friends during the trip! This is something I would definitely do again without even thinking twice. We chose the Deluxe Camp option, which had hot water, and honestly, the most delicious food we had in all of Morocco was that night. To top it all off, we enjoyed an unforgettable dance show under the stars around a campfire. I had a great overall experience despite a slightly rocky beginning. I had tried to contact the tour operator on several occasions and was sufficiently concerned about the lack of response that I booked a (cheap) flight between Marrakech and Fes as backup plan B. I was contacted about the tour and pick up the afternoon eve. I selected French as tour language but ended up with English tour (my correspondence had been primarily in English and American nationality so mistakenly assumed I wanted English). The pickup was smooth. Ali, our guide, tried his best to incorporate a little French for my benefit, which was nice. The tour itself was well-organized and well-paced with stops for photos ops and/or bathroom breaks. Ali was a great guide, always checking in to make sure we were happy and didn’t need anything. He did a good job of explaining the day’s timeline, activities/visits and keeping entire group of 17 on schedule. A local guide was used for a couple visits, whom provided more in depth information regarding the area/place. The included lodging and meals was okay/good given the cost of the tour. The first night’s hotel was actually located in very scenic area with two terraces. The (standard) desert camp lodging was reminiscent of hostel situation - I shared tent with 4 other ladies with our beds in a row separated maybe a foot apart. The food was okay but lacked variety and usually under seasoned and felt monotonous towards the end (couscous, tangines, stewed veggies, bread). Our driver, Youssef, navigated the roads flawlessly- I felt safe and secure the entire time. I felt the entire team (Ali, Youssef, staff at desert camp) really puts great effort into ensuring guests have a wonderful experience.

Very fun experience! We started late on the first day so we weren’t able to spend time in Ait Ben Haddou, but our driver Usama and guide Muhammad did their best to keep us on schedule and keep the energy high. Our luxury camp’s outdoor light and hot water wasn’t working, but we had a very good meal and the overall group of 17 people were very fun. Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience the desert dunes.

This is such an amazing experience! We are very lucky to have such wonderful group of people in our tour and a great guide Hussaine. He keep us safe at all times! The best part is the camel ride and the overnight in the desert. The food specially the lunches are bad, so bring snacks. The breakfast you must eat fast. Dinners are good. It is great value and an amazing experience! Hussaine is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My partner and I went on this three-day shared excursion in the desert with 12 other people departing from Marrakech and returning to Fez. The proposed route was respected in every detail and the movements were punctual and very well organized. Ayoub was an exceptional guide, took care of every passenger (two of our group did not have the luxury option and Ayoub followed them on the move to the other camp near the desert) and gave us beautiful descriptions of the places along the bus route and generally an authentic experience in Berber culture and the desert. Despite the tour being international Ayoub made us feel at home speaking Italian for us and Spanish for another couple as well as English for everyone else. In addition, his knowledge of Arabic and Berber made us immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery of southern Morocco from the high Atlas to Merzouga among very high dunes. Highly recommended! Finding the right guide always makes a difference!
