SCAM
FRAUD
Do not book this tour.
The tour did not take place, we waited for the pick-up in vain.
This is fraud, scam.

It's so sadly set to be just another tourist trap. The idea for the trip is so nice as a night in a desert in berber's tent with dinner and sightseeings on the way....but in fact you are forced to eat in overpriced restaurant where they rush and don't even cook well, you are given a dinner as chicken tajine even if specified and double confirmed for vegetarian meals and you ride the camel in total for less then an hour. The camp was alright, it was actually more comfortable then we expected, but the long drive with expensive lunched without a choice and the hustle is not worth the short camel ride and the little desert. To be fair with the review, our driver was a cool man you explained the route and stops and was speaking english as well as our guides in the cities and the camp.
So this trip is only good for people who want to kill the time on holidays and doesn't need to eat well on the way, then it worth to book...and highly recommend to take a walk around the camp in night and try to find a spot without light polution to enjoy the night sky. (take a compass to get back right, as there are more camps next to each other).

the trip happened as organized. our pick up taxi had a flat tyre, but even with this they organized to take us in time to the start point. the atlas crossing, the kasbah visits, the lunches were perfectly organized! The camel ride was just as long as it was comfortable at the end of a long day and at the beginning after a tent sleep. The sunrise was excelent, and we enjoyed zhe view of a nice moon set and the stars. Abdu the driver took care of us all time and drove safe.

Very basic trip, awful accomodation. No sheets and beds full of dust. No sand dunes to be seen anywhere. Shortest camel ride ever.

Genuinely had a good time on this trip, but there are several things a potential booker may want to know before pulling the trigger, as I don't believe some facts of the experience are well documented.
1. It is a 6 hour car ride to the desert - one way. That means 6 hours on the first day and another 6 on the second.
2. Bring at least 400 moroccan dirham per person on the trip. On the car ride there you stop at 2 lunch places (which are likely overpriced for being in Morocco) that don't take card. Expect to spend 130 dirham ($13 USD) per person for each meal. There are additional stops at berber/ancient Moroccan areas, to which a small (but not card friendly) entrance fee is required. Additionally, all your guide frequently ask for tips. Finally, also bring some small change coins, as almost every bathroom on the experience required a small donation to use.
3. Bring lots of water and be prepared to buy more. My friend and I brought 2 liters each on the trip, and still ended up buying another 3 each. Luckily there are places to stop and get more.
If you've made it this far, then I'll also say that the camp experience was really great. We had yummy Moroccan food and tea, got to sit out under the best stars I've ever seen in my life, have a fun drum circle with traditional Moroccan instruments, and (weather permitting) sleep under the stars. And while camel riding isn't for me, it certainly was a cool experience.
The biggest problem was definitely the lengthy car ride.

It was a great experience but the distance was way too much we should have researched it better we didn’t realise how far away it was and how much time was spent in the bus, but glad we done it, in hindsight we would have booked a trip which was closer to the desert or went from a different city

Most magical trip I've had, it's hard to describe with words. The guides were phenomenal, and laying in the darkness of the desert and looking up unto the stars was magical.
