This is a very professionally organised trip. The lodge we stayed at was great, nice food and friendly staff. The boat trip and jungle walk are effectively private tours and our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and great company. I would highly recommend this trip! There is a fair bit of down time between the excursions so it worth bringing a book or two to pass the time

Programs: Good. We have seen and learned a lot from the activities. Guide: Our tour guide Motta is very good. same the the boat operator. We were really pleased to have them both. Food: Simple, fresh. Taste very good. Much better than the fancy restaurants in Manaus. Room: Terrible!!! The river water is not filtered well. It is yellow and smells. We used bottle water to brush teeth. The air conditioner is broken. Imagine sleep in the hot and humid room without air conditioner. I was told the place is overbooked. They put us in the room that is supposed to be for the tour guides. This is NOT we paid $1100 for!!!

We had an absolutely amazing time with Joshua’s Amazon Expeditions! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, exciting, and deeply memorable. Our guide, Julio, was outstanding—super knowledgeable, incredibly engaging, and fantastic with our kids. He made the jungle come alive with stories and facts, and his patience and warmth really stood out. The Tapiri Floating Lodge was a perfect base. The hosts were welcoming, the lodges were clean and comfortable, and the food was genuinely lovely. Even our picky 10-year-old happily ate everything offered—which says a lot! And of course, the Amazon itself was just spectacular. The wildlife, the river, the sounds—everything exceeded our expectations. Over the top! Our guide Ken was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to explain details of the rain forest and how tourism will help protect their environment. The lodge was basic but extremely clean and air conditioned. The food was basic with fish, chicken and beef but so delicious. I highly recommend this tour!

This was an incredible adventure. Kennedy, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the area. He could name all the birds and monkeys. The activities were varied and suitable for the rainforest adventure. The lodge was also nice. Nelson, the owner, was kind. The food was tasty, and the sleeping accommodations were simple yet appealing. Our room even had an air conditioner. Don’t forget to spy on the bats in the dark near the lodge.

Lodge was nice but water was brown. Fortunately, the lodge provided refillable drinking water, which we used to brush our teeth. Bring your own shampoo and soap. And don't forget the repellent. Our guide, Daniel, was a passionate guide. He did not only share information but even bought local snacks for us to experience. I liked David, the local guide, as well. Very patient in looking for fauna for us to see. Though he didn't know how to speak English, he told us stories about the Amazon through Daniel. Very happy with this pair.

Great tour guide and lots of funs

We had a great time with our peer travelers and our tour guide Motta was great. He spotted all the wild animals and shared his knowledge of Amazon untiredly. We enjoyed the trip very much. Wish there is a 4.8 rating instead of either star or 4 star rating, the only hesitation we had is about the facility. The water from shower, faucet, and toilet flush were all dark brown with large unknown debris, same happened to our peers' rooms. It appeared that water filter system is barely there. We barely wash face, and had to use bottled water to brush teeth. If you are sensitive on water quality then you may have to consider this factor. Otherwise we enjoyed the trip.

Superb guide (Paulo) and great itinerary. Food was fairly basic and local style. It was nice to try local dishes and produce. Got to see quite a lot of wildlife and learnt a lot about the history and how the locals live.

This tour was honestly amazing! Beyond any expectations that we had 😊 - they arranged for us to be picked up right from our hotel in Manaus, and arranged all the boat/truck transport needed to get us to and from the lodge - once there we got to enjoy multiple wildlife spotting boat rides each day, piranha fishing, a jungle hike, caiman catching, and a whole lot of jungle history/facts from our guide Ken - he was amazing and made sure we had a great time and saw as much as we possibly could in our few days there - Tapiri Lodge had everything we needed for our adventure, and they were even able to accommodate me being a vegetarian in the meals they served - would totally recommend this for anyone wanting to get away from reality for a few days and just enjoy everything the Amazon Jungle has to offer 😊

This was an incredible experience for 3 days and two nights. The journey from Manaus itself was an adventure !! The river lodge is simple but adequate. It is clean and the surrounding view is beautiful. Our guide Gilmar is very friendly, knowledgeable and he looked after us very well. The home cooked food was very tasty and plentiful. We enjoyed all the adventures and piranha fishing and baby caiman catching at night were incredible. We would highly recommend this company. Everyone has tried their best to help and support us including the owner !!

Nous sommes parti 4 jours dans cette excursion immersive de la jungle. Beaucoup de route et de bateau pour se rendre à l'hôtel flottant. Un endroit merveilleux, calme, silencieux et paisible. Tout le monde était très gentil, respectueux et aimable. Nous sommes allé vivre avec la famille qui avait l'hôtel. Nous avons vu des dauphins roses et des crocodiles entre autre. Beaucoup de tour de bateau, une marche en jungle où on nous montre comment survivre et vivre dans cette nature qui nous donne tout ce dont on a besoin. Vivre sur l'eau en tout temps... c'était complètement nouveau. On sort de notre chambre sur le quai et l'eau est tout de suite là. Nous y sommes allé pendant une sécheresse exceptionnelle donc apparemment nous n'avons pas pu tout voir et/ou tout vivre, mais c'était un 4 jours inoubliable. AJOUTS QUE NOUS NE SAVIONS PAS MAIS QUI N'EST PAS NÉCESSAIREMENT NÉGATIF, JUSTE À SAVOIR: il n'y a aucune nourriture en extra des repas donc si vous aimez «collationné» apportez-vous des snacks. Ils vendent des liqueurs (vraiment pas cher) si vous avez soif. Il y a même le wifi (oui oui dans la jungle!!!). Il y a beaucoup de route à faire pour se rendre. Nous partions du Tropical Executive Hotel et nous avons fait ENVIRON 45 minutes de voiture, 25 minutes de bateau, 1h30 de voiture suivi d'un dernier 50 minutes de bateau.

Séjour dépaysant ! Toute la description est conforme et très bien détaillée! Kennedy, notre guide anglophone était super !! Plein d explications de toute la vie en forêt/jungle amazonienne On a pu vivre une expérience inoubliable et voir un tas de magnifiques choses et animaux: singes, iguanes, caïmans, insectes, toucans, dauphins… On était que deux le premier jour et un autre couple est arrivé à partir du deuxième jour donc c’était quasi privée !! (Mais attention ça n’est pas tout le temps comme cela apparement) On dort sur des pilotis flottant au bord d’une rivière de l’Amazone ! Les chambres sont plus que correctes Les repas sont confectionnés par les habitants du lodge et sont très bons avec des produits locaux !! Bref je recommande à 100%
