It was exceptional! Alexandre in particular did a fantastic job and was really flexible in dealing with delays to an earlier tour we were on.

Not private, not in English

This tour is not private as advertised, we were paired with a group of 6 strangers. Also the guide was very nice but spoke zero English so really couldn’t ask any questions. The description also says it includes going to the meeting of the waters, which did not happen. Piranha fishing was well over an hour and no one caught any piranha, definitely would have preferred seeing the meeting of the waters and less time spent fishing for nothing. The alligator was cool and the night boat ride was nice but overall not sure I’d recommend, there are probably better tours out there.

First of all, we would like to clarify that the tour you booked is a regular tour, i.e. shared with other passengers. We regret if this information was not clear enough at the time of booking. Regarding piranha fishing, we understand your frustration at not catching any. It is important to note that this activity is completely dependent on nature and, although we would like to guarantee successful fishing, it is not always possible due to natural factors. We are pleased to hear that, despite this, you enjoyed the night boat ride and the caiman watching. Regarding the guide's language, our team of guides is composed of professionals with official degrees, trained in several languages and with extensive experience. We regret that on this occasion communication was not fluent in English, and we will make sure to reinforce this aspect in our ongoing trainings. Overall, it was an amazing experience!! 10/10 recommend even if alone - contrary to the description neither guide nor driver spoke english (Portuguese only) + BUT they tried very hard to keep the Portuguese simple so that you could understand them a bit + very knowledgeable guide with amazing knowledge of the fauna and area + got to hold a small and big Kaiman (nothing beats that) + piranha fishing was an experience (expect bites every 5-10 min) (Piranhas were released afterwards, fishing for fun) - not suited for people that are repelled by hurting animals (aka Piranhas) + I was super wary because I went to the tour alone, but got a super safe private tour with hotel pickup and drop-off + guide and driver super nice / TAKE MOSQUITO REPELLENT AND LONG CLOTHES!! Tour is during prime time of Malaria mosquitos and even through long clothes and doused in insect repellant, I've got bitten repeatedly
