The Slingshot was so much fun to drive. The guides were all really cool and friendly, and took us along some coastal roads before heading towards the stunning cliffs at Mirador d'en Ricardo Roca. Would highly recommend.

Slingshots are not safe or practical when it is raining

We arrived promptly to take the three hour slingshot tour. At this time it started to rain, and the operator was agitated as he was flipping the slingshot seats up so the rain would not get on them. Soon after the operator presented us with redundant bookings for the same people in our party and strongly implied that we were responsible for them as he indicated he did nothing wrong. I asked if all the slingshots were manual transmission. He abruptly said they were and that it indicated on the web site. Immediately got a bad feeling vibe from the operator and then the rain got more steady and left. The operator shouted that I will lose my money as his words he did nothing wrong. I looked at the website and could not find the policy on rain/ weather. Anyway, I did request a refund and got an automatic reply within a few minutes from viator indicating they looked all communications and policies and stated that I would not be getting a refund. Anyway, if the weather is raining the three hour tour on the slingshots should be canceled as it is not safe and would be miserable.

You are right it wasn´t our fault. You booked the Tour over Tripadvisor/Viator. In the description is noticed that all cars with manuall transmission and that the drivers need experience with it. You told us a few hours before the Tour starts that you can not drive manuall transmission. Sorry but we have a cancellation period from 24hrs. You had the chance to cancel the Tour before but you didn´t. And yes it was raining in the beginning. We asked all Clients if they want to go or not. We can always change the day of the Tour because of the rain. But you didn´t want to go an other day. The other once wanted to drive the Tour and had a lot of fun because the Rain was stopped soon. We received a request for a refund from Viator. They asked us if we started the Tour and we said yes. So there was no option to refund the money because of rain. It´s only possible when cancel the whole Tour.
