It's a linear route. The hiking route finishes at the parking area of Caminito del Rey located in "El Chorro" district in Alora village. From that point participants must keep walking straight (10 minutes) for reaching the bus stop (it costs about 1.5€ per person) and go back to the starting point.

The opening of the walkway depends on good weather conditions. The Caminito del Rey Board can decide to close the walkway due to security reasons. If that happens, we will propose you to do something different in the nearby, come back the following day or partially or total refund (Total refund if the cancellation is up to one day before the tour date or partial refund if Caminito del Rey Board decides to close the walkway on the tour date).

Very far and hard to get to if not in Malaga

If you are not staying in Malaga, and you don’t have a car, it’s very challenging and very expensive to reach the location of this activity. I spent almost €500 for myself and my two teens to do this and in the end we could not get a ride to and from the location in time. I would not have booked it if I knew this. We tried to get a refund but the operator refused. I understand they’re in business to make money but even a partial refund would’ve been appreciated. We used Viator for every trip and have never had this problem before.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, which is why we tried to assist you by proposing different transportation options from Torrox Costa to the meeting point. Unfortunately, these suggestions were declined. Regarding access to the activity, we would like to highlight that all our guests until now have reached the meeting point from various locations along the Costa del Sol, even without a private vehicle. The starting location is well-connected and easily reachable by public transport, taxi, or private transfer. We regret that this situation resulted in a negative experience for you and your family. It was breathtaking and our tour guide was lovely but we did ask for an English speaking tour guide and he was Spanish and quite difficult to understand. It was also extortionate!

You booked a private tour for 4 people and upon payment, you agreed to the rate. If that seemed expensive, we could offer cheaper tours joining you a group with 30 other people but we didn't receive any complaint at the time of your booking. The Best Way To Do The Hike

My partner and I found a private tour the optimal way to hike Caminito del Rey. Yes, it’s more expensive that a large group or unguided tour but it was so worth the extra cost. No waiting in long lines. No being at the mercy of a large group’s potentially slow pace. And no struggling to hear commentary from the back of the pack. This allowed us to listen and ask questions while on the move and hike at a brisker pace. Rachel was an encyclopedia of knowledge and wove us through large groups of stationary hikers like we were VIP’s. We are not ones to stand and listen for long periods of time so we got to set our preferred speed. Kudos to Rachel for a great morning. The train from Málaga Maria Zambrano to El Chorro and back was a breeze and we had plenty of time to enjoy a wonderful lunch at La Garganta while waiting for our train back to the city.

Our tour with Luis was fabulous! He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and eager to share interesting information and stories. The "hike" is not difficult at all and the views are amazing. The only negative about this tour is the need to pay for a shuttle bus to return to the parking area near the meeting place. It should be provided as part of the cost of the tour especially for the private tour as we had. We drove from Ronda which took an hour but well worth it. Caminito del Rey is not to be missed! A unique and unforgettable place!

What a wonderful way to see the countryside of southern Spain! And Amanda, our guide, could not have been nicer! Our group of 9 LOVED this experience!! Good to be outside and the hike was long and beautiful! Absolutely a must do, but be prepared to walk (almost 4.5 miles!). Don't let the "most dangerous walkway" thing scare you though. The walk is very safe!

Our guide Rosi was wonderful, she took time to teach us about the history of the Caminito and point out things of interest with a leisurely patience. The scenery was breathtaking! Unfortunately, I twisted my ankle badly which caused me to fall just as we were finishing the walk. Rosi got me some ice, sat me in a chair to rest and found a taxi driver to take me home. This kind of care and consideration goes over and beyond the call of duty and I was so grateful to her. All in all it was a wonderful trip and we all had an amazing time, I would recommend this tour (and especially Rosi) to anyone without hesitation.

Bellissima esperienza accompagnati da juanm che per essere stata la sua prima esperienza in lingua italiana è stato molto bravo oltre che essere molto preparato nel spiegare tutte le caratteristiche della fauna e della flora e del territorio che si incontra facendo il cammino ! Unico neo nel pacchetto non è specificato che per recarti all appuntamento del tour devi andare o con i tuoi mezzi oppure affittare un auto da loro o da te! Ed il costo non è da poco
