This tour was a highlight of our 14 day cruise. We walked off the ship, took a shuttle to the Plaza de la Marina where Juan was waiting for us. That simple. Since Juan is an architect, he cleverly combined the history and architecture of Malaga in his tour. He shared hidden secrets of the city and helped us fall in love with his amazing city. We could have walked around alone and superficially enjoyed the city but with Juan and Voila Malaga, we were truly introduced to Malaga heritage and culture in a very short time. Be sure to have a specific way to connect with Juan. We forgot our cell phone on the ship and while Juan was trying to call us, we were looking for him on foot. . .we finally found him by asking anyone who looked like a tour guide near McDonald's if they knew Voila Malaga. . .yeah, that was silly but not a big problem Voila Malaga is NOT an office but a man!
