Leave the Marbella, Estepona or Torremolinos areas by air-conditioned coach and journey along the coastal roads of the Costa del Sol to the British territory of Gibraltar.
Set on a promontory and famous for its towering, limestone ridge known as the Rock of Gibraltar, this little chunk of Britain is well known as shoppers’ paradise and duty-free retail haven.
As you travel, get an introduction to Gibraltar’s shopping attractions from your guide, and ask any questions you have about making the most of its retail scene.
On arrival, hop off your coach and enjoy around four to five hours of free time to hit the shops as you wish. Perhaps make tracks first for Main Street, Gibraltar’s mostly pedestrianized, major shopping avenue. It’s home to most of the largest shops, from well-known British department stores to international fashion chains, souvenir emporiums and more.
Dive in to browse for everything from electronics, fragrances and fashions to leatherware, and what is probably the world’s best-known 100% cotton underwear! And don’t miss the all-time duty-free favorites of jewelry, watches, fragrances, spirits and tobacco.Look out, too, for Gibraltar’s souvenir and crafts shops, perhaps snapping up mementos of your day and traditional artisanal wares such as hand-blown crystal.
Take breaks from your shopping at any of the welcoming restaurants and British-style pubs, or just people-watch from a tea or coffee shop — your time is your own.
When the time comes, reconvene with your guide and ride back into Spain, where your trip ends at the start point.

If you want to see monkeys and more than town, book full tour air pickup a separate tour once in the town.
Shopping tour only takes you to the town

The journey by coach took 3 and 1/2 hours each way. There were no comfort stops which frankly is ridiculous. I have used your service in several countries but this experience would not encourage me to use your services again.
In addition the guide was very poor.

Pick up up on time. The Guide was lovely. Had a fantastic time. Well worth the money. I would use them again. Gibraltar fabulous.
Passport control was long but that’s ok - keeps us all safe.

Picked up at 7.30am, took roughly 3 hours to get there which you expect picking up at other hotels and resorts. What I didn't expect was to have to be back on the coach by 3.15pm which meant you rushed everywhere conscious of the pick up time. The experience in Gibraltar was not to be missed just a shame we had so little time there.

This was a great trip, the coach was prompt, the driver and guide Barry great and very helpful. They made the trip very enjoyable
and even dropped us off nearer our hotel than where we had got on. Great service

Bus did not arrive on day of planned tour.Waited one hour.Had to go back to hotel to contact tour operator who said they had gone to different pickup point!! Thankfully we could go the next day but really we had wasted at least 2 hours of a day and had to rearrange other plans. Not good enough no real apology. When we eventually did tour it was fine but you really need to do rock tour.Overall trip good but rather expensive for what you got.

Good quality coach, friendly, knowledgable and multi-lingual guide, good value trip. Thats all you need to know really !

The tour served its purpose in that it took us to Gibralta and back. However the coach was 30 minutes late and we spent 2 hours each way picking up and dropping off at hotels in the resort which more than doubled the travel time.

Bus picked me up at Hotel within a few minutes of stated time. Coach very comfortable. Quite a long delay at the border as the Spanish continue to make an issue, but still had a full 4 hours in Gibraltar. Guide friendly and informative. Excellent value for a day trip.

The pros - Gibraltar is lovely, excellent for duty free and worth a visit.
The cons - The bus took 3 1/2 hours to get there from Torremolinos by the time we had made all the pick up stops, so we got to Gibraltar at midday and we had to be back on the coach at 4pm. Booking it as the shopping tour, you basically just get the bus fare included and that's it. We were dropped at the bus station but not given any map or directions of where to walk to the town, which is a 10 minute walk each way to the square. We just about had time to do the cable car ride up to the rock, lunch and a quick look around the shops, which actually closed at 3pm on a Saturday.
Summary: Whilst we had an enjoyable afternoon, it was a rush in the 4 hours we had there. More information would have been appreciated.
Tips: Do not go on a Saturday as the shops close at 3pm. Get a map from the tourist office for free rather than paying £1 out of the machines. If you are not an independent type of traveller, book this trip with the rock tour etc included. Finally if you want more than 4 hours in Gibraltar, consider other options.

Guide not as pleasant as last year told pickup was 8 45am guide came and got us from breakfast at 8 35am told us that we were late and pickup was up the road we had only been on the coach 5minutes and stopped for a toilet break in the dirtiest garage/cafe with toilets so disgusting you couldn't use

Too much time wasted on the way to Gibraltar, including a 25minute stop at a motorway service station, which left only 3.5 hrs. in Gibraltar
Stephen W, Dec 2011
We were picked up right on time from our hotel and it was a problem free trip. Only negative was the number of times we had to stop and collect people on the way, which meant the trip to Gib rook nearly 3 hours. Having said that our courier was great, and we felt very safe in Pedro's hands. We had 5 hours in Gib so it was a worthwhile trip, and particularly pleasing to think we had booked it from the UK!!

Do the entire tour it is worth it to see the caves and the monkeys/apes
I upgraded onsite and was glad I did
After the full tour there is enough time to shop
Do not miss the glass blowing factory in the shopping area

after few phone calls to ensure pick up .things were fine....enjoyed the trip ..pity it was not a little bit longer...only there for four hours ,would go again ...
Barrie W, Aug 2010
The trip was reasonably price per person, 24hr confirmation was good customer service and pick for the coach wasnt that far to connect with. The pickup points takes up quite abit of time but otherwise its nice to see different places along the route.
Catherine C, Aug 2010
Coach was OK. We were glad to be last picked up. The guide was friendly and shared information well. Could have done with longer in Gibraltar.
Mervyn N, Mar 2010
I understand that their was a problem with the coach. Hotel was phoned for me to go to another pick-up point quater mile away across a busy road, not at hotel as planed. Eventually arrived 40 minutes late. We stopped for comfort break after driving 15 minutes.

First class! Very good value when booked from the United Kingdom!
Eloise C, Dec 2009
Truly amazing, and breathtaking. Can't wait to go back there!
Barry O, Oct 2007
The tour is too short! You arrive at 11:00 and have to leave at 3:00. Some people were there for sightseeing, and there is no point in leaving that early, considering the early start. Heading back at 5:00 would have made more sense. Four hours isn't even enough time for the serious shopper. I wouldn't do it again, simply because there isn't enough time to do what you went there to do, whether it was sightseeing or shopping.
John W, Oct 2007
The bus was three quarters of an hour late picking us up, which meant that we did not have long enough in Gibraltar. We then spent from 10am to 10:45 waiting to enter Gibraltar via customs.
Peter C, Apr 2007
The tour was certainly worthwhile doing. Our guide was extremely informative and helpful. The only down side to the whole day was the fact that the coach had 17 pick up stops along the way and we were number 2. It would have been much easier to collect people from a cluster of hotels by mini bus and bring them to the main coach. This would have saved a lot of time and we would have had more time to spend and enjoy Gibraltar.

Annars fungerade bussresan bra.
