The best dolphin cruise you could ask for. We originally booked the experience for Monday because we got in late Saturday night and wanted a buffer day of relaxing. But the crew texted us a few days ahead of time and asked if we would be ok moving our experience up to Sunday due to a worry of Monday having bad conditions and the experience not being as good for us. I’m so so glad they did. We could not have asked for better weather/conditions on Sunday. We also ended up only having two other people book so it was just a small group of four of us and the captain. We had the most amazing time. The captain is so lovely and kind and took care of rod us. Everyone we spotted dolphins he redirected the boat toward them. At one point one was swimming right under/with us and it was the coolest experience I’ve ever had. The captain also brought us plenty of beverages and snacks. We paused at one point for some swimming and he even offered to pause again if we wanted but we just really enjoyed the sailing. Overall, you cannot have a better experience than this. Book now!

Very weather dependent. We were not canceled but were unable to do activities. Water was rough so just went out and back.
It is a ride out and return slowly. No swimming, no dolphins, nothing fancy. One six ounce bottle of water counts as a drink. Snack was grapes, potato chips,, melon, nuts and orange slices. Nice peaceful 2 hr motorized catamaran ride. .

Our tour is designed to give passengers the opportunity to discover and enjoy the beauty of the sea in a relaxed way. Swimming stops are always subject to sea and weather conditions, as well as the wishes of the group. Same as sailing, we put the beautiful sails up when the conditions are proper.
During the 2-hour tour, we always try to cruise as far as possible in a timely manner in search of dolphins and, when conditions allow, find a suitable spot for swimming when it's safe. Two hours is a relatively short time to combine all the activities, so the experience can vary depending on the day and sea conditions.

I called specifically ahead of time to ask if this was actually a sailing trip or just motoring on a catamaran. I was told that they would sail if there was wind. We definitely had wind, but they didn’t sail. They put up the jib after about 50 minutes of motoring directly out into the ocean after I asked if we would be sailing. They put up the jiband left the motor on and did not put up the main sail so we were not actually sailing. We were just mowing. We motored directly out for an hour and then turned around and motored directly back. we were never given the opportunity to get off the boat, we saw no dolphins, and we didn’t sail. I thought the trip was very limited and poor and false advertise.

We don't see any recording of a call from you, however during the 2-hour tour we always cruise as far as possible in search of dolphins (which is the main objective of the tour and they can be close to port or very far from shore, it's never guaranteed) and, when conditions allow and it's safe, find a suitable spot for swimming.
The waves and winds play an important role in the itinerary, when the wind doesn't make a difference in cruising faster, then it's not needed. Often times, motoring can be faster and more comfortable for the passengers. We always put the sails up when it makes sense. Having the beautifully hand painted jib IS SAILING.
Our tour is designed to offer the opportunity to discover and enjoy the beauty of the sea in a relaxed way. In other tours we've seen dolphins, tuna, turtles, flying fish, moonfish. Nature is a matter of luck.

Short motor ride out to nowhere. Only views were motoring out of & back into town. No swimming, dolohins or sailing.

Two hours is a relatively short time to combine all the activities, so the experience can vary depending on the day and sea conditions. In most of our tours, with great conditions, we've seen dolphins, tuna, flying fish, moonfish, turtles and had a quick swim stop.
Swimming stops are always subject to sea and weather conditions, as well as the wishes of the group. Same as sailing, we put the beautiful sails up when the conditions are proper. Often times motoring helps us cruise faster.

A complete waste of money. No fishing, no paddling and no dolphins seen. The captain was more worried about getting back to her next “private tour” than making sure the experience was enjoyable for the passengers. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Hi Ariel! Thank you for your feedback. It's unfortunate to hear that it wasn't up to your expectations. Our captain is highly appreciated in all our reviews for being attentive and caring and fun with the guests and adaptes the route according to what the general guests want. There might be a misunderstanding because that day we had group tours all day, not private, and luckly, the sea conditions were also perfect.
We're sorry you didn't see dolphins. As they are wild animals, sightings cannot be always guaranteed, it really is a matter of luck. On many of our tours we've seen dolphins, whales, turtles, tuna etc. We want to spot them every time!! During the 2 hour excursions, we aim to go far enough offshore to maximize the chances of spotting dolphins while also offering a swim stop when time allows. If the general desire of the group is to keep looking for dolphins, then the swimming time is shorter and probably wasn't enough time for paddle boards.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry this experience wasn't the right fit. Maybe next time book a private tour and we can adapt to your requierements.
Very nice trip, if just a little short. The views along the coast were awesome. No dolphin sighting this trip, but not a dealbreaker by any means. Great crew onboard!

Very kind and gracious and patiently sailed us around, looking for the dolphins, which we eventually did find. Quite a lovely and natural thrill to see them actually. Our captain was very attentive

It was such an amazing tour. The captain and crew were attentive and friendly. The drinks were topped up, and the crew informed us about the area and wildlife. It is an absolute must-do experience for anyone visiting the area.
We enjoyed an absolutely perfect day on the ocean! We saw dolphins and giant tuna, got to jump in and float around, and they provided a steady flow of beverages and snacks. We didn't get to any snorkeling areas but that is ok! It felt like a private experience, it was just us and one other group so it was a really nice excursion for the price.
Our day with Carlos and Fran was brilliant. They were great hosts and we felt safe the whole time with them, we were looking for a chilled boat experience which we definitely got. Drinks and snacks were also great. One note is the pick up point, you want to head to the gates opposite the Dior store not the other end of the port. Also google the Royal Catamaran company in Marbella for the contact info - the lady I spoke with on the phone was really helpful with directions.
Unfortunately didn’t see any dolphins and the water was too choppy to paddle board for that time of year, however the crew were amazing. They were very friendly and the drinks and snacks were included.
Shame we didn’t see dolphins but enjoyed the trip, the guys were great and the loved the 3 hours esp the paddle boarding and the kayaking - a lot of fun! Easy to deal with and easy to find! Thx you.
Carlos and Fran were the best, we had such a good time. The catamaran was very comfortable, drinks snacks were delicious and refreshing, and we were lucky with lots of dolphins!
Francisco and Carlo were wonderful hosts. The catamaran was spacious, the wine, beer and snacks delicious. We saw dolphins, had a lovely swim in the sea and attempted paddle boarding!
Getting into the sea was fabulous., very refreshing. The Captain and crew were very nice and helpful. Service of beverages and munchies was very good too. The whole experience was good if you want to get onto the water and view Marbella from the sea.
One thing to improve on is possibly providing a better meeting location as I put the address in Uber and they dropped us at the far other end of the Marina. No complaints though, they were waiting for us at the pier.
Great day with Pepe and his team, very relaxing and well organised. The boat was very comfortable and the refreshments plentiful. Overall great value for money and great memories. We booked through Viator and I would suggest calling the team when you arrive at the meeting point.
Great and friendly staff. Multiple choices for beverages. Although the waves were quite big, we had a blast :)
Catamaran and crew were nice, however winds were too high to enjoy. Had to use blankets sitting on the deck. I believe the trip should have been canceled. Crew said they would cancel the afternoon trip.
Super choppy waters. Sail wouldn’t go up. Offered drinks at the beginning but never asked again. No swimming. It was disappointing. A few people felt very sick.
This is the second time we have been on this trip, with different group of friends. We really enjoyed it. The staff are very attentive, keeping us topped up with drinks when asked. As this is only a small group there is plenty of room to sit and do as you please.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend doing this trip. Enjoy 😊
Everything about our experience de was memorable! Our captain Francisco took us out for the smoothest of smooth sails. Carlos his first mate was the best of the best. Both were so personable and friendly. They talked about the area, gave us a Birds Eye view of life in Marbella. It was so relaxing and just what the doctor ordered after a very busy previous day. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
Great boat and lovely crew. Went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. 2 adults and 3 teens. Safe, fun, and will be back again.
Excellent service! Got a cool experience and a fantastic view of the bay! I travelled alone and I can really recommened it! Even got pictures from the crew when I "rocked" the SUP.
We had a lovely experience on the catamaran tour. Excellent service with a friendly crew. Beverages, snacks and fruitplatter included. We had the luck to spot dolphins which was amazing. Strongly recommend this tour! :)
What a wonderful 3 hours. Myself my husband and son,7 took the trip. From start to finish we were looked after by the crew. We got comfortable and were brought water. We saw dolphins within the first 30 minutes of the trip. Had the opportunity to swim in the water and use paddle boards and kayaks. Great fun. Definitely recommend

Beautiful sights of the coast! Unfortunately, it was windy and choppy, so no dolphins or other activities were possible
Such a fun experience! Even in overcast weather with rain in the distance, captain and crew Alex & Alex made sure we had a great time! The kids and adults (ages 5 - 45) alike enjoyed the various sitting areas while the catamaran was sailing plus everyone enjoyed the kayaks, stand-up paddle boards & swimming off the back of the boat.
The seas were rough & the experience was cancelled I was called
The night before at 9 pm so we never did it
