So first the positive- the captain was nice and accomodating, and we did see dolphins which was very cool! Now the negative- Soon after departing from the port, the captain informed us that we would not be allowed to swim or use the paddle boards due to strong currents and choppy water. While I understand his safety concerns, we should have been informed of this prior to taking off (we would not have gone). It was really hot and spending three hours on a boat with no opportunity to cool off is not wise (not to mention it made the trip a bit boring). One passenger got sick right away and vomited the entire time (in front of us). Then another passenger became ill, and towards the end of the trip, I became ill. I don't know if I was seasick or had heat stroke (or a combination), but it wasn't pleasant. Putting six people on a boat in choppy waters with no opportunity to cool off was irresponsible. The trip should have been cancelled.

We saw dolphins and had nice snacks. The pictures turned out awesome! The captain was very nice and we loved the paddle boarding! Definitely recommend going in the morning!

Memorable morning dolphin watching on board

We had a really enjoyable morning on Varuna with our children (ages 1-12) and saw dolphins which was a highlight! We tracked a pod of 8 or more dolphins for about 30 minutes including a juvenile which was very playful! We also swam off the side of the boat and loved lying out on deck taking in the views. A really memorable morning spent on board! Juan and Sophia took great care of us ensuring me saw dolphins and had anything we needed on board.

Great day at sea, it was a super nice trip. Sadly no dolphins and no sailing but overall a great outing. A few more fun things to do in case of no dolphins might be good. More clarification on where to park would be helpful. Thanks to Captain Toni and Santiago! Mas Cava per favor! Gracias!

Beautiful - but adjust expectations

It was really beautiful - the sun, the sea, the boat but you should adjust your expectations in seeing dolphins because we didn't see them. We had a couple om the boat who went on the same trip week before and never saw any. None the less - the captain was chill, music was great, snacks and Cava delicious. And the sun - nothing can beat the beautiful sun!

False advertising

We were told we were paying extra for a luxury 14 metre sail boat with a hot tub big enough for 11 people. The boat was not 14 metres it wasnt even called the name of the boat advertised it was a much smaller boat with no hot tub in sight it barely fit on the 11 people crammed on to it we had no real seats as there was only room for 4 people to have seats on deck. The trip lasted 2.5 hours instead of 3 and we saw no dolphins. We did enjoy jumpin out into the sea and we had a nice day but it was annoying to have paid extra for a service that was nothing like described online.

A great excursion for the family

We had a fantastic trip out, saw a family of 12-15 dolphins after a little bit of binocular searching to find them initially, and then a courtesy paddle board ride (ie, falling off continuously!). Alberto our captain was a fantastic host.

Superb experience from start to finish

Amazing trip from start to finish. 3 hours passed so quickly on the sail boat which in my opinion was a much better experience than motor boats. Victor was very pleasant and great with our young travellers. We could have as many drinks and there was also so lovely snacks including fresh fruit. We spotted some dolphins which the children were delighted with and on the whole we all said this was the highlight of our holiday.

Relaxing boat ride

We had a wonderful time sailing with Alberto. Unfortunately the dolphins didn’t make an appearance but the experience was very enjoyable and relaxing. Our captain was attentive and outgoing and the boat was beautiful. Some of the guests swam and gave the paddle boards a try while others lounged on deck. Perfect day!

The peacefulness and tranquility of a sailing yacht on the water looking back at the mainland from a distance. Alberto the Captain was a great host and even provided a cake for my daughters birthday. Highly recommend.
