Micheal was excellent and knew everything about Lyon. Would highly recommend.. my mother is unable to walk far and so this was perfect for us to see more of the city
Great tour! Much more of a history lesson. You don’t cover very much ground. Concentrated on Bellcor and the old city. I enjoyed what I did see, however I was wanting to visit all of the areas of the peninsula.
Wonderful experience! Our guide was no knowledgeable and went above and beyond to show us all the things in old town Lyon! I highly recommend!
Michael was a truly delightful and expert tour guide. He isn’t just an informed tour guide. He’s also a natural storyteller and a pleasant and attentive person. My wife and I found every moment of the tour fun and informative. We could hear and understand him well, and he was highly attentive to both our surroundings and our questions. He also maximized our comfort on the entire ride. Anytime we wanted to stop for a photo, he cooperated. And sometimes he coached us about waiting for an even better photo than the one we were about to take. We cannot recommend him highly enough!!
A great way to see a lot in a short while - we took the 2 hr option and I think you’d need 2 hrs in Lyon!
We had lots of opportunities to walk around and also our driver - Michael - positioned the bike for best photos plus also took photos for us.
Michael was very knowledgeable and his English was good!
Our driver, Mikhail is a lifelong Lyonaise resident and a wonderful tour guide for history buffs. As he pedaled along he regaled us with his knowledge of French history and pointed out so many features that would have gone unnoticed without his guidance. A great way to get the lay of the land and a real boon for those with mobility issues. Highly, highly recommend
We booked this tour the day before when we realized we wouldn’t get to walk around / see as much on our own in our short time in Lyon because it was raining in our first day. Michael is knowledgeable and a great story teller who gave us the 1 hour glimpse of Lyon and its history. In hindsight, I wish we would have booked him first bc he showed us a lot of cool places we’d like to return to. Highly recommend!
Mikhail was incredible as our guide and pedicab driver. His historical knowledge and the tremendous pride he takes in his city was central to the tour. We consider this tour to be the best of the many we have taken across Europe and highly recommend it.
He is VERY knowledgeable and we would add extremely kind. He wants to personally show you Old Lyon, while making sure your questions and needs are met. We think anyone would be satisfied if they book the tour. It was a lot of fun!

If you don't want to fight your way over cobblestones, this is for you! I have some mobility issues, yet wanted to see more of Lyon. Michael was WONDERFUL! Even though we encountered a huge protest march and police action (May Day), Michael was able to get us around the city and showed us most of what we wanted to see. He was very informative and gave us a lot of the history of Lyon and of France. A great way to see the city!
Enjoyed the ride around old town Lyon. Michael is very knowledgeable and gave us thorough historical info of the different places. Michael is very cheerful and you feel very comfortable during the 2-hour tour.
One hour with great insights into the history of Lyon and particularly the development of Christianity here. Helpful, answered questions, discussed the silk industry as well. Time well spent. We forgot a jacket and we were able to meet up and collect after being dropped off, which was appreciated.
A great experience with Michael, he was there at the meeting point ahead of schedule. Friendly, good English and his tour was passionate and informative. We just did one hour but almost wish we’d done two!
It was relaxing and interesting and didn’t feel rushed. Well worth taking initially until you get your directions.

The pedi-cab tour was the perfect activity on the afternoon we first landed in Lyon, after an overnight flight. The operator was super knowledgeable. And we felt like we learned a lot… without ever leaving our seats. For the price, it totally exceeded my expectations.
We had a fabulous tour around Vieux Lyon (the old town) with our guide, Michael. Michael was extremely knowledge and friendly and answered all our questions. He pointed out extremely interesting elements of Lyon we would not have seen or experienced otherwise. From seeing a silk loom, to the traboules, the history of the Lumière brothers and so much more. Best guided tour we have ever been on.

My sister and I had a great time on our Pedicab tour today. Our guide was very knowledgable about the history of Lyon and showed us all the historical sights. We added a few other sights that we asked to see. He also gave us some suggestions for after the tour we thoroughly enjoyed too.

Perfect option to walking. Our guide was informative and made many stops to catch a snapshot. You could never walk the distance on your own - why try. Worth every penny. Don't forget to leave a tip - the driver earns it!
Thoroughly enjoyable 2 hour pedicab ride with Michael who was very knowledgeable and informative on the city. Revealed things we had walked past and not known about the day before.
Also was a plus that kindly dropped off nearer our hotel at the end.
Would recommend a pedicab ride to see some of the city and learn more of its history.
Our guide had the most wonderful French accent. He could voice a Disney character. He was kind, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable.
