Head out into the desert outskirts of Luxor for a quad bike adventure with this guided experience. COMPLETE SCAM! I felt like I was being held against my will. They picked me up and drop me randomly off at a boat which I was already confused since that’s not part of the itinerary. Then drive me far away and after I was forced to tip them, they say the tour was cancelled and he tried to get me to go to some bazaar but after arguing I got him to take me back to my hotel. He blocked me from exiting the boat so I had to muscle my way off the boat. Nice Tours should be renamed Nice Scams. Luckily I am a big guy but if I was a solo female traveler, I would have been extremely scared. I do not recommend this company. They should be banned from Viator.

Good experience eventually ... terrible organisation by tour company -- go elsewhere!

The actual Quad bike experience was great -- the team were great and spoke good English. The issue was with the tour company -- their communication skills were zero. We were picked up by a van but then driven 3 minutes to a quay and told to get on a boat which would take us to the experience in the desert. Obviously we questioned how a Feluca could do this. We got no answer as to how the boat was going to get to the desert. We said, just drive us there, rather than use a boat. We were told there was no bridge ... an obvious lie, as a) we'd been in coach that mroning over the river to the Valley of the Kings and b) you can see a bridge from where we were standing. Then we were told we could be driven there only if we paid another 25 dollars, as it was a long way. We went back and forth via text for an hour. Eventually, we were told the boat had a motor. We decided to go with it ... turns out it was a ferry, not a Feluka, that crossed the Nile and on opposite bank was a coach provided by the quad bike operator to take us to the desert. Apparentluy, this has happened before ... the aud bike owner was very frustrated that the tour company does not explain things and that results in clients arriving really annoyed ... like we did. The tour company could have explained on the website that it was a pickup , ferry to oppposite bank and then another coach ... but they didn't ..its not on the website / viator listing ... and the agent never explained it

Enjoyable activity, seemed slow at first, but once getting into it, was worth going on. Private guide went at speeds and as long as one could keep up he kept up the pace, but if not he would take it at your pace... Thow I went as quick as allowed

"Nice Tours" are rubbish, the company that actually run the tour are sound.

I'm leaving a one star rating for "Nice Tours" they are the company that organise the event with local tour companies. The local tour company we got was great, lovely people and cool experience on the quads. Nice Tours however are unprofessional. I tried to get in touch with them on multiple occasions when our driver hadn't showed up on time and got nothing. For over half an hour we weren't sure if it was going ahead or not. Just in limbo. Therefore, in my opinion "Nice Tours" are a let down. If you book, make sure to get the number of the local tour guide beforehand so you can get in touch with them directly to avert any hassle.

We had a great time ATVing through the desert! The end of day trip (4PM) was timed perfectly to allow us to see the sunset over the ridge towards the end of the excursion. Mostafa was a patient and helpful instructor, and our guide Lucas was super helpful and friendly. 10/10 recommend this as a great experience, especially if you have people more inclined towards physical activity and to break up the monotony of visiting historical sites.

Excellent experience and I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for such a ride. I can compare it with others (did in Cairo) and this was much better (in time). The terrain is also very good, as well as the leading guy from the company and the bikes are in a very good condition.

Best Quad bike tour I’ve been on in all my travels. It was just me and the tour guide ripping it up in the dessert. We stopped twice: once to have a sit / chat about life and search for fossils and then the second time was for tea. The most authentic tour guide I ever met who loved Luxor and its people. For the price I would definitely do it again!

Mundi the guide was very good and nice, but the communication with the company «nice tours» was nonexistent. I tried to contact them but they did not answer. The only reason we even got to go on the tour was because someone at the hotel knew someone else that did the same activity. But the tour itself was very nice and absolutely recommendable:)

Great experience. You quad bike in the desert just outside the city. Great terrain for quad biking, the ride was adventurous. Our guide was super knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the Egyptian desert including its history and local wildlife. Highly recommend.

We had a great time with Mostafa and Omar! We really enjoyed riding the ATVs through the desert near the Valley of the Kings, and stopping for tea between the high desert cliffs. The bikes were automatic 250cc Hondas, and were in great condition and drove well. Easy for anyone to drive, including first time riders. The total ride time about about an hour, and included hotel pick up, boat transfer across the Nile, and pick up that took us to the tour location, which was near the Colossi of Memnon. I would recommend bringing a scarf and sunglasses to help cut down on all the dust the ATVs kick up.

Moundi était un super guide . On a eu le droit à une excursion en Quad privée . On a pu s'amuser dans les dunes avec nos quads et regarder les différents fossiles lors de la pause eau essentielle avec une telle chaleur . Merci bcp pour cette belle expérience .
