Was okay, the drive was nothing special but the temple was amazing

The drive was nothing special and there were in fact a couple of issues. We asked the driver to stop for lunch before getting onto the desert road but he did not do this, instead taking us to a random restaurant where they were serving meat which did not look too good. We had to therefore buy just crisps which is not ideal for children. That being said, the driver did get us from Luxor to Hurghada safely. Dendera Temple of Hathor - amazing, can't recommend it enough. the temple is well preserved and you can see all the paintings which are quite vivid. Would definitely recommend.

The driver arrived on time at our boat. This after experiencing some challenges on our part to advised exactly where to pick us up. The stop at Dedarra was worth it (30 min enough if you are pressed for time). Driving in Egypt with anyone requires a sense of adventure and we were not spared. Arrived safely in Hurghada though. Would use this company again.

Bitter experience due to lack of paper work

Our pick up was from West back but we were transferred to east back on back, we had to drag all our luggage on dirt road., Due to some paper work related to permits we were held by Dandera police for 3.5 hrs. We reached late to hurghada and missed our evening tour at hurghada. No support from Eyes of Egypt company which handled the trip, they simple threw it on the driver. Not professional.

The driver picked up us on time and drove very carefully. One issue with this trip was that we felt somewhat pressure to reduce our visit time at Hathor temple because he said he had to drive back to Luxor after dropped us at the hotel in Safaga. He suggested 45 min to visit the temple and agreed eventually to our request for an hour. We actually wanted one and half.

Smooth ride to Hurghada

The driver arrived on time and in the car as described in the photos. The tour provider was in touch a few days before and came to meet us with some water and snacks for the journey. The ride was smooth and pleasant with a stop along the way for a bathroom break and to stretch our legs. We weren’t rushed and the driver ensured we made it safely to our hotel in Hurghada.

Driver didn’t speak English at all. In our way to Hurghada he stopped the car in some shops without asking us and he disappeared for more than 20min. In Hurghada he got lost and we needed to use our internet to use google maps to get the right way to our Hotel. When we arrived in our hotel he was following us in side of the hotel already, he called his boss and he gave me his phone for his boss ask us for a tip. After all these problems of course we didn’t give any money, so he wasn’t happy.

The tour operator failed to reach out to us and confirm. We had to make international Calls and pay international rate phone charges to make a call and confirm the details. Luckily the customer service in the US notified the tour operator to reach out to us. The amount of stress could have been avoided . Will post review on trip advisor too.

Le chauffeur est arrivé en avance à l’hôtel à Louxor, il nous a emmenés comme prévu au temple de Dendera que nous avons pu visiter tranquillement. Ensuite à la mer Rouge. Le chauffeur était très sympathique et conduisait prudemment. Son minibus (nous étions une famille de 7 personnes) était propre et presque neuf. Voyage très agréable!

Bon chauffeur prudent sauf dans le désert à l'approche d'Hurghada où les virages sont pris à trop grande vitesse. Il nous a proposé de nous offrir un verre de jus de cannes à sucre à Qena puis nous avons fait un second arrêt dans le désert où le chauffeur aurait dû nous prévenir de ne pas se faire avoir car nous avons payé 100LE pour 2 cafés. Sinon tout s'est bien passé.
