Beaware of the closing times of the cable car by visiting rigi.ch prior to your travel. Use Vitznau train line instead (no refund due to this!)
GOOD TO KNOW: The ticket can be used at any time during operating hours; you don't need to stick to the starting time. The train runs every hour!

Bring your hiking shoes and walk along the beautiful Alpine trails. We walked along a beautiful trail and had magnificent views all to ourselves. If you are not a walker or hiker you can still enjoy the ride to the top, but it still does involve a significant uphill walk to the transport area.

Best experience ever. Unforgettable experience for my whole family. We never expected to see too much snow on top of Mt Rigi but we were very lucky to have seen it, felt it and enjoyed it.

Great day at mount Rigi

We were so lucky that it snowed just as we reached the top of mount Rigi which provided hours of fun for the Grandchildren. We then caught the cable car down to Weggis which provided spectacular views before catching the ferry back to Lucerne. A great day out.

Beautiful sights and lovely walk down through the alps. Enchanting early morning boat ride to Vitznau, cogwheel train up to Rigi Kulm, walk down to Rigi Kaltbad and cablecar ride down to Weggis. Definitely recommend Rigi Kaltbad Mineral Spa together with hot stones massage,after walking so much came as a lovely treat!!!!
