The trip was not what we expected. The cruise was from one end of the lake to opposite end and back. We never had a ride to Mount Bürgenstock as shown in picture.

Dear Mitchell Thank you for your feedback. Our crew reminds all guests on every round trip that people who have booked a round trip on the Bürgenstock Railway must get off here. In addition to that you can see the funicular even from a distance when you arrive by boat. We therefore cannot see why you didn't took of at Bürgenstpck to take the funicular. We would like to point out that you can ask our service staff and the crew on board at any time and they will be happy to provide you with information. Nevertheless, we hope to welcome you on board on another occasion.

I woul:d love to upload photos - had there been any to take!!! We successfully got on the correct boat for the 'tour'. An employee came around to check our tickets. We didn't get kicked off so we must have been on the correct boat. We road for approximately 25 minutes, across the lake to a stop where there was a funicular. If there was anyone doing any announcing, we could not hear it. I asked the same young man who had checked our tickets earlier, if this is where we get off for the Mt. Burgenstock experience. He said "No, stay on the boat." Which we did. And went straight back across the water to where we got on the boat. THIS IS THE WORST VIATOR EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. THAT MUCH MONEY TO RIDE ACROSS THE WATER?? NO ONE GIVING ANY DIRECTION AND/OR INDICATION OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING OR WHAT WAS TO COME?? We were thoroughly disgusted and severely disappointed!!

Note - this is merely ordering tickets online with about a 5 service fee to Viator. Bürgenstock is pretty and maybe there is more to do and see in the summer, but definitely not spring May. The Hammetschwand Lift is a 20 minute walk/hike from the resort where you are dropped off. The funicular is steep as advertised. If you can get out to the lift, it is neat, Otherwise, it is just an OK day and purchasing through Viator doesn't do much for you. Everyone seemed confused when I showed them the voucher instead of a ticket.

Ausflug Katamaran- Seilbahn Bürgenstock zu empfehlen!

Es war ein sehr gelungenes Erlebnis. Der Katamaran war vornehmen, neue, sauber. Die Bootbesatzung waren sehr angenehm. Es ist der Ankunft und die Seilbahn fast abgestimmt! Die Seilbahn ist neue und geheizt. Oben, auf dem Bürgenstock hatten wir Glück gehabt, es hat nicht geregnet und die Temperatur war perfekt für den Ausflug. An Sonnenbrille sollte man denken ( das wusste ich vorher nicht). Auch die Rückkehr war problemlos. Der Preis für den Ausflug fand ich angemessen.
