Overview

Take a break from the beaches and discover Salento’s food and wine, instead. Great day of Wine Tasting and Fabulous Lunch

We visited two wineries. The grounds of the first winery was spectacular with a 16th (I think) century castle. They host many weddings and it is easy to understand why. The second winery was more modern and we had a fantastic lunch. It was the best meal we had in Puglia/Salento. Both the food and service was outstanding. Our driver and guide were excellent and very accommodating..

Beginning with the ease of reserving to the on-time pick up at our hotel and continuing through the highly informative and interesting stops at two wineries, the Wine and Food Tour exceeded our already high expectations. Our guide was personable that added to the experience. The food part of the adventure involved an outstadning lunch at a seaside restaurant in Gallipoli.
