Our tickets for this train trip never arrived via the activity provider. I contacted both Viator and the provider Faw Shaw Travel. Viator were as helpful as they could be but Faw Shaw Travel never responded to multiple messages via the app and WhatsApp. In the end we went to the train station and repurchased our tickets and have requested a refund. If you want to do this Sagano Romantic Train (which was actually really nice trip with all the Cherry Blossums out), go directly to the train early and book seats yourself! I have asked for a refund!

Failed to provide the tickets

Having had this booked for weeks I received a message apologising for not being able to arrange the tickets I ordered with less than 6 hours to experience but said they were hopeful to provide. No e-tickets arrived but the app shows it as confirmed. I got the station and was turned away as I didn’t have the tickets.

I was not able to obtain my ticket for this experience. Booking agent not responsive to messages. Poor experience. Recommend you not book with this provider. The train ride itself is fantastic and I would highly recommend.
