No chances of seeing Auroras but still we did a road trip of 4h instead of them having another option in mind to make the experience better.

All the conditions of the activity are not in the description. They send you the totality of the conditions by mail EXACTLY 24hours before the begining and you can’t do annulation because annulation must be validate maximum 24 hours before the begining.
The meteo was horrible ( a lot of snow )
The conditions was announced sooner in the day but the companie don’t canceled the activity.
You received the conditions that Said that no refund if you don’t see Aurora exactly 24h before and you can’t cancel because the delay is expired.
I know that the meteo is not an exact science but wheel it’s your job, you can annulate but they prefer take your money.

The only good think is the guide that was really friendly and so disapointed for us.

Hi! Sorry to hear that you misunderstood what a northern light hunt is. We can not unfortunately not control the weather conditions or the activity on the northern lights. We can only do our best with the conditions we have to make the best try to help you find aurora and have a nice tour even if we are not finding it. As it says on the activity before booking, we can not guarentee to find anything. Thats why its called a northern light hunt.
Guest can cancel until 24 hours before tour start, and thats because we working as guides also need time to prepare and plan a head so we can actually run the tours as planned.

First off, Paradise Lapland is amazing, reliable, communicative, and responsible. Absolute #1.
Having transportation (pickup and dropoff by our hotel) available made the tour super convenient as some tours may last later into the night and finding a way back via public transport or by taxi would be a challenge, thank you so much!
This was our second tour with Paradise Lapland.
Our guide Patrik was Superb! Super knowledgeable, engaging, fun, and a great photographer! We were so lucky to catch the auroras as the clouds cleared up in the evening. It was an unforgettable experience. After the auroras and many many pictures, we enjoyed Fika (hot lingonberry drink and lingonberry cake) under the auroras before heading home. Made the trip to Kiruna another one for the books!

Our guide Patia was kind and helpful, and nature really cooperated for us! Patia was persistent in trying different spots and keeping us hopeful, and it really paid off. She was also accommodating of others on the tour who were cold and tired, while still giving the rest of us every chance to spot the aurora. It’s best to come already knowing how to work your camera/phone and to bring your own tripod if you’ll want it.

It was a great tour at Christmas Eve. Our guide Juampi was very helpful and kind. We we're lucky to see the Lights and spent a really good time near the Abisko Lake. I strongly recommend this tour.

I had a wonderful time during the Northern Light Hunt. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to see the northern lights and have fun at the same time. Our host was very kind, energetic, and she had a wonderful personality! She also is a great cook and “personally” made delicious carrot cake for all of us. But most importantly, she does a great moose call! 🙂

This is the worst tour experience we had encountered unfortunately.
We tried writing to the tour operator to explain our situation but unfortunately the tour operator came back with an unprofessional explanation and full of excuses. Therefore we felt, we should pre warn all concerns, this is a “scam” operator!!!

I booked this tour, The guy who took us was not very experienced. During the tour there was no appropriate place to wait for lights. in the middle of no where in extreme cold we waited at few spots but there was no northern lights in-spite of plenty of clear sky. I won't recommend this tour to anyone.

The guide was accommodating, and the trip was successful. we got an opportunity to see the Aurora from 2 separate locations. Will thank the team at Paradise Lapland. I also stayed there at Kiruna with the Northern Light cottage. It was a lovely experience. Would recommend it to you.

Our guide tried really hard to make sure we could experience the Northern lights, we drove from Kiruna to Abisko and stopped along the way to see if we could catch any. We stopped at the Abisko park but again because of the cloud we couldn’t see any. Our guide decided to drive further north but unfortunately we still didn’t see any due to the clouds. I would say before booking to check the weather and make sure you have a clear sky because the guide cannot move the clouds.

Guide Patia was very helpful in teaching us how to use the night exposure setting to get enhanced pictures of the auroras. Last stop, cold and late at night, was the best one! Don’t give up!

Money well spent. I booked this hours before the tour began. Our guide Lila was punctual, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The bus was warm and comfortable for our small group of 3. Lila was gracious in letting us use her camera and tripod, and teaching us how to take the best shots. She knew when to engage/lead us and when to let us explore independently. The warm lingonberry beverage and cake were surprisingly delicious. Dress warmly - toes and fingers are always the first to freeze up. Don’t be discouraged by the clouds. After only a couple hours, we got quite the light show around 11pm. Aurora Borealis and the North Star really showed out for us. The dancing lights were unbelievable - just like the pictures and videos I’ve seen online. Overall a 5 out of 5.

The Paradise Lapland crew were so friendly and accommodating as we hunted for Northern Lights! I came for Aurora but will come back for the cloudberry cake and warm lingonberry juice served under the stars 🤩 Great, friendly guides with a lot of expertise and amazing opportunity to be under the stars in Abisko. I went solo and they made me feel welcome and not alone at all. Definitely recommend!

A very good tour with a lovely guide. Communicated the times and places to meet and stuck to them. She brought cake and hot drinks for everyone to keep warm; and also has extra warm suits for people to wear on cold nights. We were only able to see the lights for about 5 minutes, but that’s the luck of the draw and beyond anyone’s control. A lovely night out.

La mejor experiencia para comenzar el año fue recorrer el hotel de hielo que es un museo extraordinario y la búsqueda y descubrimiento de las Auroras. Es comenzar el año con la magia de la naturaleza en tus ojos. Recomiendo ampliamente a Juampi, profesional guía argentina en el ártico sueco. Sugiero llevar reservado todas las actividades que quieran realizar antes de llevar a Kiruna.
