Overview
Add some husky dog action to your Kiruna trip, and enjoy a family-friendly dog sleigh ride, away from the main tourist trail. Taking part in a small group for a more intimate experience, you’ll explore frozen lakes and trails, looking out for moose and reindeer, aboard a sled pulled by huskies. The dog sledding adventure was incredibly fun and well organised. We were especially grateful that all the necessary equipment and clothing were provided, which made the experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. Communication with the guides was clear and easy throughout, and transportation was equally seamless. It was a fantastic experience and one I would definitely recommend.

It was a very interesting and amazing experience with all these beautiful dogs (Olga, Sunday , Bell, Ayla, Freddie, Tia, Tyson & Elvis). Also our rider Andrew was amazing. He was really cool, kind and funny. We had a lot of fun through the snowy jungle and frozen river. We are happy to book this tour and didn't miss this chance.

Everything was scheduled smoothly from pick up until drop off. Enjoyed the petting of the dogs as well as the amazing sledge ride through the River valley.

This excursion is a must-do. We were very lucky with the weather—it wasn’t too cold, around -7°C, and the sun was shining. We got to ride together on one sled. During the excursion, we enjoyed tea and homemade pastries in a tipi tent. The other participants were from Belgium, which made the experience even more fun. The excursion was led by a British lady and a Slovak man.

Due to a change in our flight, we ended up missing the tour we had originally booked. Milos was incredibly gracious, and allowed us onto a tour for which he had an opening the next day. I cannot say enough good things about this tour! Absolutely incredible scenery, smooth ride, and overall an incredible experience. What an outstandingly nice group of people! I would highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time with Natalie. The pick up was seamless and the whole event was well organised and with an emphasis on care for the dogs as well as the guests. We learned lots about the dogs and enjoyed our hot drinks and home made apple cake. Thoroughly recommended

This was a really great experience from start to finish. The ride was beautiful, Gaynor and her team are excellent hosts and made sure that all guests (including our friends’ four year old) were warm, comfortable with the dogs and that we had a great time. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Absolutely amazing experience! Dogs are well cared for and very happy. Temperature was just below zero so conditions were perfect. We even spotted a wild reindeer.
Would highly recommend this if you are in Kiruna area.

We loved this experience. Of all the trips we did in Kiruna, this was the family favorite. It was all organized so brilliantly and the team were so friendly and knowledgeable. This was an awesome experience. The tour guides were all very friendly. They provide warm clothing so that you can enjoy the tour without worrying about the cold. I truly can’t think of anything negative to say and believe me, I’ve tried.

This tour operator runs a very tight ship!!! She pick us up at the Scandic Hotel right on time (Just like the British do it!!!). She went and did the rest of the pickup round to the other hotels of the city.
When we arrive to the last cation all the dogsleds were ready for us. The only thing we needed to do was to go and change for the proper attire. They provided boots, Gloves and Jacket. Our experience day was sunny, so this was enough to keep us warm. Off we went to the trip. The sled handler (driver) was super nice and very knowledgeable. He explained while in route how they trained the dogs and everything there was to know about how to arrange the dogs, the speed and the duration of the training the dogs were subject to and preparation of the tracks as well the season. The sightseeing was spectacular. When we arrived to the tipi, we were welcomed with hot coffee or tea while the dogs were enjoying a moment of rest. On our way back we switched siting so my wife was riding shotgun. She enjoyed being there. All in all an unforgettable experience.

This tour was really great. Yes it is more on the expensive side with only lasting 2 and a half hour ( and really that half hour is more used for changing clothes) but it was really worth it!! I had so much fun riding the sledge while a guide told us about the dogs. When we stopped at the tipi for some fire and drinks they served homemade apple pie that was really good. The owners and guides love what they do and you can just feel it in everything. And the husky dogs were just amazing. I am not the biggest fan of dogs in general but these dogs were really easy going and love to be cuddled. We were quite lucky as the day was really nice as well and all in all it was really an amazing experience!
