I can absolutely recommend this tour. We saw a black bear and other animals. Our driver/guide was Sean and he enthusiastically shared his knowledge. As well as the spectacular Athabasca and Sunwapta Falls, we visited the Columbia Icefield and walked on the Skywalk. Too many other things to mention (but the lunch provided was delicious!).
Just do it - it was worth every cent.

A fantastic experience from the start. Our guide , Norm gave a running commentary about Jasper , wildfires , wildlife , hiking , skiing and history of the area . Truly brilliant !
Jeff is great. Thanks to his recommendation, I could enjoy the night perfectly. The journey was obviously great. No reason not to choose this trip.

My friend and I were fortunate to be a part of this amazing drive from Jasper to Banff. Shaun, our guide was funny, an eloquent speaker and an experienced guy with a lot of knowledge. He shared his first hand experience of the Jasper fire in 2024. He kept all of us engaged all through the 10 hours. The stop at the Columbia Icefield was truly memorable and unforgettable. The view was breathtaking. We drove on what is claimed to be the most beautiful scenic drives in the world - clear blue sky, the endless highway, snow capped mountains and the green vegetation. Absolutely gorgeous 🥰. The photos don't do any justice to what the naked eye witnessed to be remembered for a lifetime. I definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting the Jasper and Banff National Parks.
This was a great trip. Dave was our driver and he was a walking encyclopedia about the area. He did such a good job of keeping us entertained and informed. He also had a cute sense of humor. When one of the tour participants was not sure of his hotel reservation, Dave went into the hotel to make sure he had a room. He would not leave anyone in limbo. The itinerary was spectacular and we got to see bears, elk, big horned sheep and red faced, spotted back squirrels. I can heartedly recommend this tour and SunDog. They are the best.
The Ice Fields Parkway tour was a wonderful experience made even better by Sean our driver and tour guide with SunDog. Sean was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and always able to answer our questions about the beautiful features along the way.
Long but great tour. Shawn of sundog tours did an excellent job. I highly recommend this tour especially for big groups or families.

This trip was well worth the time and money. Not only did it give us transportation from Jasper to Banff, but it also provided us with many amazing stops along the way, like: Athabasca Falls, the Athabasca Glacier , the ride on the Glacier vehicle, and the breathtaking Skywalk. Our driver John was the best. Having grown up in the area, he kept us entertained with amazing bits of history, events, and humorous folklore of the region. The bus was clean and comfortable, with outlets along the sides to charge your phones after taking hundreds of photos. This tour also provided snacks, drinks, and lunches. You cannot go wrong on this tour!

Best tour experience I've ever had with SundogTours. I travel a lot and have been on many many tours but this one was hands down our favorite. Our driver Jeff was funny, professional, nice, personal, organized, and entertaining. (As a side note, he has experience with special needs and my son has Autism) He got us to every destination on time with plenty of time to explore, without feeling rushed. We visited many destinations along the way from Jasper to Banff. Pick up was from our hotel in Jasper and drop off was directly at our hotel in Banff. I couldn't have asked for better service. The drive was safe and in a clean, comfortable, spacious shuttle/van. There were 9 of us on this tour. Jeff explained everything about each destination stop in great detail and thoroughly, esp where is the next indoor bathroom vs porta-potty break. Lunch was provided and it was delicious, apparently homemade by a local Italian diner/chef. My son has food allergies and they were able to accommodate. Food and service 10/10. Would highly recommend this tour.
We booked this tour as a way to get to Banff from Jasper and it didn’t disappoint! Guide Norm was wonderful! He knew the area intimately and had many interesting stories along the way. Our first stop was at Athabasca Pass National Historic site and Athabasca falls. Then on to the Columbia Icefields where Norm dropped us off for our trip up to the Athabasca glacier on a 6 wheeled Ice Explorer. Although the glacier is receding it is still an amazing experience. Then we were off to the Skywalk, a glass floored walkway high above the valley floor. It was snowing initially so the glass was covered and not a scary as it could be. But the sky eventually cleared and we were able to experience the full effect! As it was so early in the season, we were unable to get to Peyto lake as it was still snowed in but a frozen Lake Louise was beautiful. We arrived at our hotel in Banff ready for a good sleep after a full fun filled day!

From Jasper AB to Banff AB was a magical tour with the best bus driver ever. Norm was so informative a great storyteller and stopped at all the fantastic spots along the way. I was impressed and loved all of it. The bus was comfortable and we knew exactly what was happening when we got off the bus to go to the sites and when to return. Picked up and dropped off right in front of our hotel. Wonderful trip
Fantastic way to see the beauty of Rocky Mountains. Great value, safe and informative. Our guide was pleasant, lunch was tasty and the views unforgettable.

waterfalls and canyon stops were my favorite. Enjoyed the ice field and glacier. Comfotable coach alrhough try not to be the kast puckup!
It was a lovely tour with beautiful sights. It was amazing to see so many places in just one day! A nice lunch was included and at the end of the day everyone got dropped off at their hotel/hostel.

Fantastic experience. Being able to walk on a glacier was a once in a lifetime experience. The tour was worth doing for that alone! But there was so much more. Seeing different lakes, glaciers, mountains and hearing stories.
The Best Driver/Guide Award must surely go to Norm. Though in his mid 70s, he is funny, knowledgeable, friendly and professional.
He drove safely while relating stories and facts which were very apt..

Darian was a fantastic guide and had great knowledge and stories from his career in Parcs Canada - arrived right on time to pick us up from the hotel and keep us up dated on everything that was going on.
The stops were perfect to see everything we wanted to see whilst keeping the trip going and arriving at our destination not too late - Peto lake is defiantly a hidden gem !

Great trip on the Athabasca glacier on the big snow tractor buses. Also the stunning visit to Peyto lake, colours were amazing.
