Have lunch at Eceabat before taking in the WWII-era sights, from the Kabatepe Warm Museum to Chunuk Bair, where a New Zealand memorial marks the highest point captured during the Gallipoli campaign.

See where the first wave of ANZAC troops landed at Brighton Beach, and learn how thousands of soldiers lived and fought on the beach throughout the campaign. See the Ari Burnu Cemetery and ANZAC Commemeration Site, then visit the Lone Pine Australian Memorial, where Australians captured Turkish trenches during the August offensive.

Wow. Where to start! We booked this tour 12 months ago. Ezgi is a great communicator. This is a family owned and run tour group. Ezgi’s dad was our driver for most of the day with her brother bringing us back to Istanbul. We had lots of flexibility on this tour and we were also given the opportunity to visit Troy which we declined as we needed to return to Istanbul not too late in the evening. On the day we were picked up on time and headed to Gallipoli when we were notified our tour guide was in hospital. So Ezgi’s dad improvised as our tour guide also and we still were able to visit all of the sites. Whilst we didn’t have commentary for the sites we felt privileged to have been able to visit such an important place. We were ecstatic they didn’t cancel the tour with the guide being in hospital. Lunch was amazing at the family owned restaurant too! Very generous and hospitable family. Would highly recommend. We felt taken care of all day.
