We loved exploring the Fener and Balat area — it’s colorful, full of charm, and rich in history. Not only did we learn so much from our guide, but we also found it was the best place to shop! I didn’t realize it until we visited the Grand Bazaar later — the prices in Fener and Balat were much better, and the small shops had the cutest, most unique items. It’s also one of the most beautiful spots in Istanbul for taking pictures. Highly recommend this tour — don’t miss it!

Bad and late communication

They cancelled the walking tour an hour before it was supposed to start, citing closures in the city, so they sent us a message at 10am to leave on time because there were closures. We took a taxi, which resulted in serious additional costs that no one would pay for.
