We had a wonderful time on our jet boat tour with Captain Kat! Our nine year old loved the experience. They do provide rainsuits/rain jackets if you want them. It was a warm day so we went without. We got wet but dried quickly. I highly recommend doing a jet boat ride!

It is very important to be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time in order not to miss the ride. We operate from Bönigen and are located at the BLS port building at the wharf. Car parking is right behind our base and is well-marked with blue parking signs.

Exciting Jet boat ride around Brienz Lake. Fun for our teen grandkids and my wife and I. Would recommend this as a family adventure activity.

A Frustrating Start to Our Experience Misleading Parking Advice and No Flexibility

We had a 4:00 PM booking and arrived early, but finding parking took us a long time. We asked one of the captains if a parking spot was allowed, and he assured us it was. Just before departure, Captain Flor warned us the car might be towed. My brother went to move it, and we politely asked them to wait a few minutes, but they refused. It was frustrating since their own staff gave us the wrong information. On top of that, phones were not allowed at all during the experience, and the only way to get a video was to buy theirs for 29 CHF, which felt overpriced considering the cost of the activity.

Had to rebook - but worth it!

Our trip actually got postponed due to bad weather - this is a little unpredictable and at times you only get to know about the cancellation last minute. But the operators were extremely professional about it - and offered either a full refund OR re-booking for another date/time. We chose to re-book to the next monring. Weather was again a bit rainy and wet - but Phoebe are driver and guide made it most fun and overall very enjoyable. The sharp turns and u-turns were a thrill and got to learn a fair bit about the lake and its surrounding villages which was interesting.

Worth it

Great staff, my husband and I had a lot of fun despite the weather. It was rainy and 57 degrees, and both of us as well as the staff made it enjoyable.

Nice but short boat ride

Shorter tour than described — on water for about 40 minutes. Not as thrilling as described. More of a speed boat tour around the lake with a few fast turns. Needs to be more thrilling
