This canyoning experience in the Swiss Alps introduces beginners to the sport near Interlaken. You’ll start with an abseil 33 feet (10 meters) into a local canyon, plunge down natural slides, and float downstream. Start your beginner’s canyoning adventure at the canyoning base to meet your guide and gather your safety gear, including a wetsuit to keep you warm against the chill of the mountain water.
Enjoy the 10-minute drive to the outskirts of Wilderswil along a scenic route beneath the Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger mountain peaks of the Swiss Alps. On arrival, it’s a short walk up the hill to the canyon entrance, where you snap on your helmet, harness, and life jacket and receive a safety briefing. Put techniques you’ve learned into practice as you go abseiling (rappelling) into the canyon and plunge into the water below.
Clamber up and slide through a series of chutes into plunge pools. Continue downstream to the final slide in the second canyon, and float along at your leisure while the water carries you down a natural channel, over a series of drops, and into a deep pool of tranquil water below. Rest assured that your guides are on hand throughout the adventure to ensure your safety.
At the end of your canyoning run, take a short walk back to the bus for the return drive to the base, where you can purchase a copy of your filmed trip through the canyons. Enjoy a shower and a refreshing hot drink before drop-off at your accommodation or train station in Interlaken, where your tour concludes.

As a family of four this was a fun and enjoyable way to enjoy the Swiss Alps. The scenery was beautiful and it was adventurous enough for teenagers but doable for parents as well. Our guides were excellent patient and entertaining.

Fun adventure with the family. Just the right level of adrenaline to see if people like it before doing the higher level trips. water is obviously very cold but refreshing in late June. Great guides!
They don't allow you to bring phones. And they require you to pay a significant amount for the video which requires a computer to download. The video only includes each individual person unless combining it with others. However, I don't like that I can't even get one photo all suited up of my family during the trip. They claim you can get it on the website but don't provide instructions to do this. This is also a hassle. This policy should change.

The canyoning experience itself was absolutely incredible! Our guides were fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe while still making the adventure so much fun. This was one of the highlights of my Switzerland trip, and I would absolutely recommend the activity itself.
Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the video package. I brought my own securely helmet-mounted action camera as I create professional travel content, but I completely understood when I was told personal cameras were not allowed. I was then told by both the front desk staff and our guides that if I purchased the video package, I would receive the individual GoPro clips from my experience.
Instead, I received only a 1 minute 30 second edited highlight reel with captions and music. This is not what was advertised or what I was told I was purchasing. The edited video cuts out many of the best moments, removes the original audio, and isn’t usable for the type of content I create.
I’m hopeful this is simply a misunderstanding and can be resolved by sending the original unedited individual GoPro clips. If that happens, I will happily update this review to reflect the excellent customer service and the amazing experience I had on the canyon. The adventure deserves five stars—I just hope the video package can match it.

It was our 1st time canyoning and it was such a great experience for beginners. It felt like a natural water park and was very refreshing on a hot day. We would definitely do it again maybe something a bit longer.

If you’re on the fence about canyoning, this is your sign to book it — especially if Rayno is your guide. From the first safety briefing to the last rappel, the whole experience was equal parts thrilling and reassuring.
Rayno was fantastic. He’s clearly a pro: super knowledgeable about the canyon, patient with first-timers, and had an uncanny ability to know exactly when to crack a joke to calm the nerves before a big jump. He tailored everything to our group’s comfort level, pointed out hidden rock features and little waterfalls you’d totally miss on your own, and made safety feel effortless without ever killing the vibe.
The route itself was stunning — crystal-clear pools, natural slides, and a few abseils that gave us all bragging rights. But what made it 5-stars was Rayno’s energy. He’s encouraging, hilarious, and genuinely stoked to share his love for the canyon. We walked away feeling like we’d conquered something epic and made a friend.
Can’t recommend this experience — and Rayno — enough. 10/10, would jump off cliffs with him again.

My wife and I had an absolute blast on this trip! Our guides Andy and Gerard were incredible very easy going and fun but also made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. We were originally scheduled for the Chli Schliere canyoning but due to heavy rain ended up having to cancel. Outdoor went above and beyond to still get us on a canyoning trip while we were still in town for our honeymoon. The interlaken Canyoning is great because it only takes a few hours and you still get some of the jumps and drops! Definitely recommend!

Great fun in the mountains! Our group of 11 ranged from 11 to 55+ and everyone had a good time. There are 'go-arounds' available to those who may be nervous about the jumps, but most of our group just went for it! Our guides were terrific, never pushing people (too far) beyond their comfort zone. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience! My sisters and I did this as a part of our sister’s trip. The guides are very helpful and explain everything as you go along. I felt very safe the entire time. It went by pretty fast though, we kind of wish we’d signed up for the longer one!

This was a very fun several hours. Great canyoning adventure for those that have never done it. We were considering the next level experience which is 5 hrs long, and more advanced, but we were fully satisfied and happy with this 3-hour version. This was our first canyoning experience. Highly recommend.

Incredible experience with our 14 and 17 year old kids - the whole family loved this! The provided full wetsuits and boots were key - I hate being cold more than anything and I must say every moment of this experience was enjoyable! This was a top-notch organization from beginning to end. Our guides were outstanding and we all felt safe but challenged the whole day through! Canyoning in Switzerland was an unforgettable family adventure! Our guides, Matthias and Timmy, were absolutely incredible—fun, professional, and made everyone feel safe and confident, even the teens. The perfect balance of thrill and scenery, with breathtaking waterfalls, natural slides, and jumps that pushed us just the right amount out of our comfort zones. Excellent quality gear. They outfit you with good wet suits, equipment etc. Picked us up at the Interlaken Ost train station and transferred us to their shop. People were friendly and VERY SKILLED guides. This is a top rated outfitter for sure and the activities were fun, safety was always in order and exhilarating.

Was the first time my family ever tried canyoning and couldn't have asked for a better guides. They were knowledgeable, kind, friendly and patient. Can be bit scary at times, especially for me (mom) but they guided me every step of the way and so happy I did it all. No regrets!!!

We went at late May when the water was rising. So there are some places you can feel water pushing you really hard. I could never imagine myself going through rapid currents before I went on this trip. Our tour guides are experienced and responsible. Recommend for people who are looking for something new and thrilling.

A highlight of our time in Switzerland! I was worried the beginner course would be boring, but this still pushed our group out of our comfort zone and we had a blast. Our two guides were really nice guys, and the beer at the end of the experience was a great touch. Wouldn't change a thing and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Canyoning was rained out, so we were put on a white water rafting trip with a bachelor party. We did not get the video because we were in the back of the boat behind all the ruckus. Overall, the guide was funny and good ,and the ride was cold, but fun.
