Horses are placid, beautiful giants. Jacquie was our laid back but knowledgeable guide. I have some challenges walking sometimes but the carriage’s stairs were easy to navigate. Hard to beat wandering along through the bush to the sounds of nature before stopping somewhere for wine or cheese or chocolate! Highly recommended.

A very pleasant and worthwhile experience. Good value for money. My only suggestion is that the company could please buy their staff some work uniforms and work footwear. It wouldn’t cost much, it would make a better impression, and it’s the right thing to do for your hard-working staff.

A fun and different way to explore wineries in Pokolbin. Liam our host was fabulous, he had a lot of knowledge about the area and the horses were just gorgeous. We started with a very fresh & chilly morning and ended with the glorious sunshine. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience

Its disappointing the the tour has no guide, no winery explanation, the cheese and chocolate was nothing special. Only thing worth was the pretty horses carriage.

The carriage ride was beautiful, and the 2 vineyards visited were excellent, great selection of wines in private rooms. The cheese/chocolate tasting was very rushed.

Absolutely enjoyed the experience with Liam on our 3 hour horse and carriage wine tour. Liam gave us a fantastic time and was very helpful carrying our wine for us giving us a terrific insight to the Hunter Valley

No reason to drink, rush and drive when Jade and her two horses, Rocky and Jack, can take you on a lovely carriage ride to 2 of the best vineyards where the tastings were very generous and the treats were great! Thanks Jade for a great afternoon!!!

The ride was not worth it at all. That was just a carriage ride and most of the places were not visited due to closure of the venues. They did not decrease the amount or refund it anyways. They took the guests to a local
confectionery to show cheese and no tasting of cheese or chocolates were there. The ride could have been $50 highest.

Excellent activity, book earlier in the day on a hot day. Not disabled friendly or parents who can't get through a buggy ride. We had a wonderful experience and had planned ahead for parents.

Fabulous way to see the countryside and enjoy good wine and newly made friends. It was nice to be able to have enough time to partake of some great wine, cheese, and chocolate tasting without feeling rushed. Sometimes it is just nice to slow down and enjoy the scenery. This is the way to do it!

The wine tastings we're phenomenal at both vineyards, offering a wide variety of their wines with knowledgeable sommeliers. The ride through the countryside was fun and we saw many kangaroo!

The hostess Jade was fantastic. Friendly, helpful and always accomadating. We were a large group of 10 and she was able to accomadate all of us. Would be sure to book again because Jade, Banjo and Rocky made it an enjoyable day

Jade was easy-going, fun-loving and let us pat her horses which she supervised in case they were moody.
Our pick up was nice and smooth as we were given a text specifying where and it was a very pleasant walk from our accommodation.
It was great value for money. The wine specialists who hosted us both places gave us wine tailored to our interests, being considerate if people wanted more sweet than dry.
I enjoyed how we also went to a cheese place as well as a chocolate place, not just wineries.
I couldn’t give more recommendations without it exceeding the time range and compromising the enjoyment, for if we went to a whiskey distillery also, it would take away the enjoyment of the other two places, in my opinion.
Tips for travellers: have a designated driver or book accommodation close by.

The young lass that was in charge was lovely and made everyone feel welcome.
Visited wineries that we hadn't been too & was particularly impressed with the Lisa McGuigan Winery "VAMP".
This should be on every visitors must do list to the Hunter.

Hayden is a knowledgeable, entertaining and accommodating young man. My 93yo mum and I had a wonderful afternoon with him and his horses 🐎 Jack and Rocky. Hayden gave us some thrills on the road with a few quick, fun trots and a real, old time experience on the slow, dirt back tracks. Hayden asked us about our wine preferences and catered to our tastes. Cheese tasting to finish. Fabulous afternoon, best one for us in HV. Thank you Hayden, great afternoon.

Rob was an amazing your guide. We had the absolute best time!! It's so refreshing seeing the Hunter valley in a relaxed slower pace. The horses were absolutely gorgeous and being in the carriage looking over the scenery as it slowly passed us by really makes you reflect on times past and the grandeur of everything around us. We even made some friends along the way. Will definitely be coming back xx A+
