Overview

Take a day trip to Hong Kong Global Geopark, which is made up of the Sai Kung Volcanic Rock Region. Once you reach Sha Ha Beach, put on your life jacket, jump into your kayak, and follow your guide through the waters of the park to discover uninhabited islands, caves, and untouched beaches. Note: route varies depending on weather, tide, and guest conditions

What To Expect

Meet your group and guide at Hang Hau MTR Station in the morning. Get ready for your full-day kayaking adventure as you follow your guide to Sai Kung ferry pier, and take a 20-minute ride to Sai Kung Country Park on either a minibus or taxi.

Start at Sha Ha Beach, where your kayak and equipment are waiting for you. Hop in your kayak and paddle out into the water with instructions from your guide. See awesome rock formations and dramatic sea arches, and maneuver your way through some really cool sea caves. You might even spot some coral beds and sea life while you paddle.

Depending on weather conditions and the group/individuals' ability, you might be able to explore different areas of the park.

With abundant sea life, scattered coral beds, and beaches aplenty, there is more than enough to fill a day.

Amazing nature and great opportunity to escape the city. We did around 7km of kayaking. Was a bit tough towards the end but definitely worth it.

My wife and I had a great time with our guide, Geoffrey. We were blessed to have some summer showers to cool our day and our guide was totally wonderful and engaging. we would wholeheartedly recommend this tour if you are interested in a small adventure away from the heat of the city.
