We had so much fun on this experience! The coffee making was so well organised and set up, the team were all very lovely and helpful throughout, and the main guy talking us through how to make the coffees brought a lovely spirit to the activity! We then moved onto the lateen making, where there was one person teaching us 2 and therefore got more personal support and discussions about the lanterns. We had the best time at both of this experiences, and couldn’t recommend it more to anyone visiting! Everyone was so friendly and wonderful, making it the best experience for us.

A real must do activity!

Can't recommend this activity highly enough we had a brilliant time!! The coffee making was up first - it was a slick operation and we got to make 5 different types of Vietnamese coffee. Making the Coffees was really fun as we got to use filters, whisks, frothers and all sorts! My favourites were the coconut coffee and salt coffee. We also got a short talk on the history of coffee in Vietnam which was really interesting. It was a large class but everything ran seamlessly and the staff were fantastic. It was a family run business and you could really tell from their passion and the way they bounced off eachother. Next up was the lantern making class which was in a separate building around the corner. We loved both parts of the day but this was our favourite part and a real must do! You got to choose whether you wanted to build the lantern frame and fabric or just put the fabric on a pre built frame. Both options are easy enough to be doable but still fun enough to make you feel proud of the end result. And the staff were just amazing. They were so funny and friendly and helpful - if you make a mistake don't worry they will fix it and have a laugh with you while doing it. The lanterns also fold up for easy packing. The staff really did make the whole experience so much more memorable and enjoyable and this is a must do activity in Hoi An!

We loved this! Educative and fun!!! Really loved learning how to make the coffees and the guys running the course were very entertaining. Coffee was delicious. Lantern making course was equally as fun. Great instructors and wonderful to come home with a set of lanterns between us. Highly recommended!!

Very wholesome and surprisingly fun

This was such a wholesome experience. Making the coffees was a great way to try all the different Vietnamese coffees they have on offer as well as learning the history of how they came to create each. The operators of the event were hilarious and very welcoming. Making the lanterns was also really fun and while not something my partner would really consider he actually loved it. We got to keep a little lanterns once we made them and really enjoyed the whole experience. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I loved both the lantern and coffee making classes. The teachers were funny patient and helpful and the whole experience was my most memorable part in my trip to Vietnam! If you have time or if you want to try something different and unique please try to make time for this. My friend and I loved it!

Favorite tour I’ve done in Vietnam so far! I greatly enjoyed the coffee making class and I loved that it was family-run. We learned black coffee, white coffee, salt coffee, egg coffee, and coconut coffee - all my favorites! Lantern making was better than other lantern classes I’ve done. You had more choice of fabric, higher quality frames, and better instruction. Would highly recommend this tour!
