Such a well organised experience with our tour guide and chef Trang. She made the whole shopping in the local market for ingredients and the cooking experience so much fun. The venue for the cooking class is awesome, set on stilts in the middle of a river jungle, reached by little coracle boats. After instruction from Trang, we cooked four dishes which were all delicious. After finishing our class we were given complimentary cooking chop sticks and the recipes were emailed over to us. We can’t wait to try out our new found skills back at home!
The whole experience was such good value and there was nothing that we didn’t enjoy.

We loved this tour and cooking class, it was fantastic. Lee's expert tuition was patient and lots of fun, not to mention creating delicious dishes!

Convinient that we could do three activities in one program. Overall good and cooking was fun but it would have been better if the explanation part was shorter. The guide told us so many alternative ingredients and cooking methods but usually tourists come to enjoy the cooking not to really learn it to cook it when we go home. We totally understand she was doing her best and appreciate it but the weather was so hot and humid so one of the participants got really upset, started screaming and using swear words. On the way back, the crazy lady screamed at the driver, stopped the car, and disappeared in the middle of nowhere. The guide followed her. I know it just was a bad luck for us but it could have been better if we were told what happened after that since we all experienced it together, the experience was ruined, so... I guess people there deserved to know what happened but didn't hear from the guide since then.

Hon was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and warm. His cooking instruction was clear and easy to follow. The menu was simple but delicious. The boat tour was fantastically clever and unexpected. The food was excellent and the market trip was very informative. We loved the entire thing. And after, we didn’t have room for dinner. You will eat a lot and enjoy the meals along the way.

trang was a excellent guide and the whole experience was fantastic. The food we cooked was delicious and easy to follow instructions. Market was interesting and educational. The basket ride was lots of fun.

I was picked up at my hotel and we were all gathered at the market. Since it was raining they gave us rain jackets. the tour guide at the market bought the things we needed for our class. Then we got on the motor boat for a 45 minute ride and got to our destination. We all got into basket boat tour 2 people per basket and it was fun. then took us to our cooking class where we made 4 different meals...vietnamese rolls, then banh xeo, then noodles and vegetables and finally Pho Beef. we enjoyed it very much then we were all taken back to our hotels.

A fun few hours. Just as advertised. Wasn’t that keen on the basket boat part when they thought we might want to sing karaoke, rather than peacefully enjoy the ride. Despite that, it was all great. Lots of great food to eat at the end and we learnt a lot about Vietnamese cooking and food. Recommended.
