Photo is not the boat you are on. It is 12 hrs, not 10. More people in boat than advertised. Guide good. They stop at silk/bamboo shop and try to sell you

Generally a good experience. The tour itself was great and included several shore activities. Comfortable boat and transfers. Slight let down by the communication between the agent and tour operator regarding pick up times which were revised but not communicated to me despite confirming pick up times the afternoon before. The guide arrived 45 mins early and advised that this was the new pick up time. The tour is booked via an agent via Viator. The actual tour operator is a third party company.

A long day to see the bay from Hanoi, worth the time

We came for the interesting landscape, and it didn’t disappoint, especially under the beautiful sunset. The cruise stops at a giant limestone cavern; we have seen similar cavern else where, but still impressive. Then a stop at a small cove that you can either kayak or take a boat ride; the monkeys in there is the main attraction. The final stop is a small island with crowded beach, but we chose to climb to the top for a gorgeous view of the bay. The guides are fun and friendly. The tour does force you to stop at a pearl factory and a local food mart, which wastes about 90 min out of a already long day.

Excellent trip but very hot

The trip was reasonably well organised - some uncertainty at the beginning. The sights were great and the extras of the bamboo boat ride and the cave visit were very good. The lunch was okay. One thing, we paid for a drinks package of free soft drinks and alcohol but at lunch we told that we could have one drink only. It wasn’t a big deal, but a bit disappointing that we didn’t get what was advertised and what we paid for.
