Great experience, great value

Fantastic experience and a great deal. I highly recommend. We were picked up by a comfortable van and accompanied by knowledgeable and friendly guide. We were guided through the Phil Weigand Museum. Then we were given the option to accompany our guide at the pyramids or explore on our own. We visited a local artisanal tequila distillery where our guide provided a thorough explanation of the entire process and we had the opportunity to taste some of the distillery’s products. We had lunch at a local restaurant and then spent some time in the town of Tequila. We ended the day at a local bar for cantaritos (a local drink with tequila and Squirt).

Be prepared for a full-day outing. Our guide was very knowledgeable for both tour highlights. If you have the same guide be prepared for a lot of information. You will be doing a lot of walking and not all of the walking will be on smooth pavement. Oh and bring a hat and sunblock.

I took my daughter on this tour for her birthday. It was an amazing experience. Sergio was very nice, informative and helpful. He took great care of us. The pyramid was beautiful, we also enjoyed learning about the history and culture. The tequila tour was a blast I would definitely do this again.

We went to Guachimontones and Tequila tour and Norberto was such an amazing tour guide! We had a mix of Spanish and English speakers so he made sure to include all of us. My daughter who is 7 years old had a blast! I was worried that the tequila tour would be boring to her but Norberto made sure to include her in and she ended up loving it. Our guide was so informative and took care of us very well. We learned so much and will be glad to take another tour with him!

It was very interesting to see the ruins. Significantly different from the ones we've visited primarily in the Yucatan. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the ruins and areas. They were kind enough to slightly modify the tour as we didn't want to go to the distillery.
