- The hike through the Azuaje Ravine is an easy to moderate trail in the lush laurel forest of the Doramas Natural Reserve, featuring uneven paths, gentle slopes, stream crossings, narrow sections, and rocky surfaces, making waterproof shoes essential as your feet will likely get wet.
- The route is suitable for most participants with basic physical fitness, covering approximately 3 km into the ravine and lasting about 2 hours, including scenic stops.
- Restrooms are available in Firgas, at the Ecofinca Ventana Verde, and at El Puertillo, where additional facilities and restaurants offering snacks and refreshments can also be found; however, there are no restrooms along the trail.
- All tours are guided by certified professionals, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for all participants.
- The group size is limited to 20 people, fostering a dynamic group environment and allowing participants to share the adventure.
- Layered clothing is recommended, as weather conditions can vary from sunny to cold, and the guide may modify the hike based on weather, terrain, or group needs.
- Winding roads along the way may cause motion sickness, so it’s advisable for those prone to it to bring motion sickness tablets.
- The minimum recommended age is 5 years, and children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, with only 4 child spots available per tour; special seating requests should be made at least 2 days in advance.
- Prohibited items include sandals, strollers, drones, alcohol, drugs, aerosols, and litter, and participants are required to respect the environment by disposing of waste properly and avoiding eating or drinking in the vehicle.
- Essential items to bring include comfortable sportswear, hiking shoes, a backpack, sunscreen, light food, at least 1.5 liters of water, a raincoat, a swimsuit with a towel and dry clothes for swimming, and your ticket or invoice in digital or printed format.

This was a fabulous, well thought out trip hosted by Marina & Victor. They were great guides, taking us to amazing parts of the island you would never normally see as tourists. They were knowledgeable, fun & made the day out so good. The village we stopped at was beautiful. The rainforest walk was amazing. The picnic was really nice & the swim at the end capped the day off nicely. Everyone in our small family was really nice & chattly which made a huge difference as a solo traveller. Thank you guys for a brilliant day. Worth every penny & would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

A great trip, Victor & Celeste entertained an informed us through the trip through the ravine and rainforest. The trek wasnt to onerous and was manageable for all, although you had to make sure of your footing in places. Would recommend for those who like to take a walk off the beaten track.

Beautiful, green area! Celeceste and Angelica were lovely guides, thank you for a great day :) (The part in Firgas might be a bit boring for kids, the walk in the woods and visit at the farm I think is lovely for everyone! And would not be easily available on your own, very cool to see. We had rough sea that day, and didnt get to try the swimming part, but it was nice to see the bay anyways.)

Despite staying on the north side of the island, this tour gives you a unique experience of Gran Canaria beyond the beaches! Well worth your time to take this tour into some local towns and villages, plus a stroll (and fun times going over streams!) into a rainforest. Angélica, our tour guide, was passionate about showing off her island home and kept everyone engrossed and entertained. 10/10 experience for a solo traveler like myself :)

It is a nice trip split in 3, first you visit Firgas and hear the story of the city, afterwards you drive to the little rainforest and have a nice walk and see all the flora and fauna here. After this you visit a small farm and have dinner, fresh fruit and other delicious things. The trip ends with a swimming trip and it is so nice.
But the really reason for 5 stars is the guide angelica, she was really good and made the experience even more memorable

An amazing tour for anyone wanting to spend the day in nature. Be warned, you will get a bit muddy and your shoes will be wet, if not waterproof but it's all part of the fun. Great way to stay away from the crowded tourist spots and see a different side of the island.
And I tasted the best avocado in my life during this day. Superb!

The small village if Figras was a good experience. The rainforest description is a bit misleading. It's more of a small trek up an overgrown small stream. The lunch was stunning in an open air setting. The natural pools turned out to be the sea at high tide, perhaps a low tide there are pools to swim in.

It was a great experience. Victor, the tour guide, was funny, knowledgeable, and very caring. We did a lot of walking and a bit of climbing too. Just remember to bring comfortable walking shoes and a jacket. You definitely need to do this tour when you’re in Gran Canaria.

From start to finish, a really great day! A smooth pick up and drop off. Victor is sooo friendly and knowledgeable! The group size for my trip was 8 people, which was perfect. The guide was amazing. She's very helpful and nice and you can feel her love of the island. It was a pleasant trip.
The rainforest part was exciting but it was not as adventurous as I thought.there were old people and it was suitable for them as well, so you get an idea.
I give only two stars because the price is too high for what it is. The van was also quite uncomfortable.

Nice trip with just the proper amount if hiking If you’re not into getting all sweaty on vacation but are looking forward a break from the pool scenario. Out guide Angelica really enjoys the nature and to learn foreigners about the islands and it’s people. The food was fresh and delish. 9/10! ( the lacking point is due to somewhat small leg space in the bus that picked us up. So tall people try to sit in the front! 😜)

An incredible experience! I feel like we did so much in a relatively short amount of time. Angelica is an incredible guide, she was super friendly and was always eager to help us or to answer our questions. I really enjoyed learning a little bit about the history of the Canary Islands. The highlight of the trip for me was the little pond in the forest (very refreshing!) and the delightful tasting. The place where we did the tasting was absolutely breathtaking. Smell of orange and mandarin plants reminded me of Night queen plant which was a flower plant back in India. The banana plantation was also amazing.

Absolutely amazing adventure with Angelica! The weather was very warm but ended up making a perfect day. We saw villages, the rainforest, jumped into the natural pool, the farm, and a end of day swim in local’s favorite. Cannot recommend this trip enough! Learned they have other trips and we will definitely book them next time we are on the island. Hopefully with Angelica because she was an amazing guide.

Liked guide Anjelica, good story prepared, liked the nature, but worried that the wearher conditions didnt allow us to go throw rainforest (no 2km hike because of rocks) and no swim. Must be back. For me expensive, but informative and nice!

I truly enjoyed this trip. It is a definite must! Lucas was a great guide who was knowledgeable and fun! The light hike was enjoyable as was the visit to the farm where we got to eat some wonderful fresh fruits, cheese and bread. It was a lovely day with a great group of people. Would definitely recommend!
