Had an absolute ball! Amazing scenery to start with and the off road part was so much fun. Highly recommend this tour, our guide Christian was fantastic and so too was ‘speedy’ the camera man! Very friendly staff.

Whilst we appreciate the weather was an issue there was no off roading. We travelled up the mountain on the road and back again. We were not given the opportunity to cancel due the conditions and no partial refund offered. Having done many buggy rides around the world, what we did could have been done in a car. Hopefully this is not what to normally expect but we were very disappointed with the experience.

Great fun with entertaining, knowledgeable and multilingual guides. Would have liked more of the experience to be off-road but great fun nevertheless.

This is a fantastic experience where the team try their best to get you to share their passion for the buggies.
Furthermore the scenery is breathtaking and everyone went the extra mile.
I've done lots of these tours and this one is by far the best.

Fun! But there wasn’t as much dirt riding as expected. There’s an hour scenic drive on roads then the dirt track and the dirt track is only two loops that you go at from different angles a few times. It’s fun but I thought there would be more going on. We had a ton of fun driving and riding in the buggy either way but if you’re expecting a lot of off roading there isn’t that much.

Well managed trip. good Communication from team re driving the buggies before hitting the road. Wonderful scenery on route saw the really wild beautiful side of Gran Canaria. The off road part was great fun but watch out for flying stones. All in all great time was had.

Loved it. Friendly staff. Picked up from hotel in Tauro as part of cost and then after dropped in maspalomas for us to get bus of taxi. Nice tour of island. The off road part is good fun

We had a really enjoyable time on the Buggy Tour in Gran Canaria. Pick-up from the hotel was right on time and we were taken straight to the starting point. The group was quite large on the day, so the ID and disclaimer process took a little longer than expected, and I noticed a few impatient faces, but once the engines started it was well worth the wait.
The staff were fantastic – welcoming, professional, and full of energy. A special mention to “Speedy” who definitely lives up to his name. He zooms around on his moped keeping spirits high and really adds to the fun of the day.
The tour itself is very accessible, something anyone can take part in. Most of the drive is along winding tarmac mountain roads with amazing views, before switching onto a short dirt and gravel stretch for a taste of off-road driving. Personally, I enjoyed the tarmac sections most, but it was nice to get a little mix of both.
It’s not a free-for-all but a structured drive in a convoy of 10–15 buggies, which makes it safe and easy to enjoy. Altogether, it’s a few hours of beautiful scenery, fun driving, and plenty of laughs with the group. Simple, safe, and great fun a brilliant way to see a different side of Gran Canaria.

I think we had high expectations based on the previous reviews so we were slightly disappointed. We were in a large group, at least 20 other buggys so approximately 40 other persons, and it really impacted the quality of the experience for us. There’s like 10-15 minutes max of “off road” and it’s basically going in a cercle 2-3 times while you wait for the others because as I said we’re 20 other buggys and not a lot of space/sandpit to cover. The rest of the time was on the road and the view was just okay except for like one very pretty spot. It’s still a nice adventure and the guides were really energetic and fun but I think it would be beneficial to lower the group size to make it a nicer experience ! ☺️

Brilliant buggy tour, starts off with an amazing scenic tour through the mountain and then the through an off road bit where you’re allowed to really get in to it. All staff were brilliant, especially the two tour guides on our trip, Sebastian and Carmelo (Speedy Gonzales), they were unbelievably funny.

Would HIGHLY recommended to do with partners and/or friends. My partner and I were picked up by Sebastian and dropped off after the activity. The entire event was insane and driving on the local roads and up through the mountains was breathtaking. There's 2 stop off points (1 during the road driving and 1 during the off road driving) so if you're driving as a duo, you can swap over. There were hardly any cars on the roads making it very safe and easy for UK drivers to navigate if you're unfamiliar with driving on the other side like myself. The off road driving was a lot of fun, be prepared to get VERY dusty! They have washing facilities at the venue to clear any dirt you will get on your clothes, shoes, bags and self! Speedy was insane whipping through the roads to get good footage and photos of the whole day. We purchased the edited footage and it's worth it! Ours was 16 minutes long and we got sent all 750+ photos taken, plus a bonus it was sent the same afternoon. Overall I would highly recommended participating in this activity as you get to see parts of Gran Canaria that you may not have access to on a large tour bus.

Give you a chance to see The Hills and the surrounding area little bit of driving on the road and a little bit of driving off road which was a lot of fun special thanks to our tour guide and the cameraman who was well brilliant

This is a great excursion, which will take you through the interior of Gran Canarie Island. The first leg is on roads. The second part is off road. You should be prepared to get dusty. Absolutely an amazing excursion with very friendly guides.

This experience was just perfect from the beginning to the end. The staff was so friendly and caring about our group. We started with some introduction (with music) what made the start and the rest of the day much more enjoyable. The plus was that they speak many languages for a more personable experience. The whole team of staff were very energetic, organized, and really got you ready for a tour! Amazing greeting and prep and a fantastic tour, gentle bit of off road to towards the end which was just enough to avoid becoming uncomfortable or painful. The duo taking the tour out was HILARIOUS! Speedy Gonzales if a really funny character and totally made the day 100% would book again if we had enough time this holiday. A must try for any visitors!

I recently had the chance to experience the Gran Canaria Buggy Pirates tour, and it was hands down one of the most exciting and fun-filled activities I’ve ever done! From start to finish, this adventure exceeded all my expectations.

The buggies were decent and the staff very helpful and enthusiastic. When I did the tour the majority of driving was on the road however, and I had hoped for more offroad driving. In addition the offroad part was limited to a few laps in a small Valley/ dustbowl. Ideally a few gravel tracks etc should have been included. I do however understand there are restrictions on where they are allowed to go. Good activity for a couple of hours - especially if you otherwise are doing beach only. Not great if you want to do much or hardcore offroad driving.

A really fun morning - staff were friendly, efficient and helpful throughout.
We felt safe whilst really enjoying ourselves. A good amount of time and several opportunities to swap drivers so everyone has a turn.
Definitely take a bandana/face covering and wear old clothes - so much dust!
